So i checked metacritic and the game has 89/100 in critic reviews. How can any responsible reviewer be so far against EVERYONE else in this case

Jeff Jensen ohhh he's the dude who wrote that insane column on Lost. Yeah, if he thinks Kirby was the WORST game of the year then I don't think he plays many games. I think even if you didn't enjoy it, Kirby's Epic Yarn has an undeniable amount of originality and to me that puts it above many many many others.

I feel that bringing bad press to bad reviewers is worth it. Gamers may not read EW, but people who may not be a common gamer are going to read this. Can you imagine a kid deprived of Kirby this Christmas cause his mum read some guy say it was the worst game of the year. That thought makes me angry. "

The only people reading Entertainment Weekly at this point are people obsessed with reality/daytime television who don't know how to use a computer.   Or people in a dentist's office or something. Besides, even if the outrage is just as you said, someone uninformed not buying a game due to a poorly written video game review, our outcries are not going to reach said person since they have no idea where to go to make an informed purchasing choice in the first place.   There's no point in getting upset about it. It's literally as if Knitting Monthly wrote a scathing tron review. The fallout is minuscule and the people that care about one don't care about the other. "

Considering they write terrible reviews/coverage for Movies, Music, and TV why buck the trend with Video Games?

Sounds about right. That game is some rehash platformer with cute graphics attached, so everyone thinks its 'New' and 'Refreshing' and dare I say it.. 'Charming' 
 
It shouldn't take a team of 3 people to put that game together these days, Alas, that's what nintendo keeps on doing, and I guess it's staying alive and pumping the money to them better than Sonic is doing for SEGA.

Like always, I appreciate your love.    Seriously the crew at EW works in LA or NYC, they are used to high quality products that are supposed to look amazing...watch their TV show during the evening sometimes and you'll notice it.  No one will remember Kirby years from now, but people will still be speaking about SC2, ME2, and GT5 well into the next-generation of consoles.  I'm not hating on the game, but I can understand why EW hates it, because like them, I'm an East Coast Liberal.  I've shown Kirby to loads of people in the NYC area before and they just laughed at it.   "

I don't know what's the WORST game out there, but you would think it would be something like Sonic Riders or some girly barbie game...

I found it to be quite boring, but he can't have played that many games this year if he thought it was the worst. 

Someone mail this guy a copy of Naughty Bear and lock him in a room with it for 15 minutes. After he is done vomiting he can write a article correcting this horrible mistake.
