This weekend, after 7 years Formula 1 returns to the USA with a race in Texas.

The last race 7 years ago in indianapolis was a disaster after a fuck up with the tires. meaning only 6 cars took part and America quite rightly turned its back on Formula 1.

7 years on Formula 1 is in a much better place. Back then only 2 or 3 drivers stood a chance of actually winning a race. make most races just a procession of very loud cars.

This season however 8 drivers have won races and the championship has been much tighter and much more exciting. With only 2 races left it is now down to 2 drivers.

No, the only sport I watch these days is MMA. I've slowly been less interested in everything else and never been into racing, though Formula 1 is way more interesting than NASCAR so if I come across it....maybe I'll watch, why not.

I'm very excited! This season just couldn't be more exciting, with the top 2 drivers only separated by 10 points anything could pretty much happen at this point. I'm definitely going to watch it with some of my friends. Cheering for Alonso, and a little bit for Kimi.

I've been totally converted to F1 as of late, so I'll be watching regardless.

It's been such a great season, too. Hype!

Note: I'm not American.

But Nascar has fights and cars going across the finish line on fire.

Actually the last race in the US was not a fuck up . 2005 was the tire fiasco when the Michelins wouldn't last more than a few laps and they withdrew from the race. I was there and saw the "race" in person. They went on to do races the next 2 years at the Speedway with no problems.

But yes I will be watching, and I probably will make the trip to Austin in 13 or 14.

Nope, I was an F1 fan, but since Sky got their claws into it I can no longer watch a full season live without paying extra cash (which I can't afford) so I won't watch any, just like all the other sports which Sky makes people pay for.

Fuck F1.

I'm gonna watch it. There's been a few dud races this year, but mostly it's been pretty great. Hopefully Fernando can out score Seb again this weekend and leave it down to Brazil. Should be gooood.
