Giant Bomb Community T-Shirt Design Request
If you've not yet seen it, we've launched a fun new shirt design at the Giant Bomb store. If you saw the old Giant Bomb store, you might notice that there's significantly less variety--the idea here is that we'll focus on a single shirt design for a limited run of shirts, then move on to something new. We're still in the process of printing and shipping the current design, but we're already thinking about the next one, like a bloodthirsty pack of t-shirt sharks. Since the Space Neon Lobsters design came from a ridiculously talented member of the Giant Bomb community, we thought we'd see if you awesome folks would like to take a stab at our next shirt design.
The underlying concept of the next shirt is NEVER. If you followed our E3 coverage, you're probably familiar with the NEVER lady from the Nintendo press conference. If not, here's a little inspirado.
I'm not calling this a contest, on the admittedly rare chance that we end up producing something internally, but here's a few guidelines to keep in mind if you want your design to stand a chance of actually being produced:
1. The fewer colors, the better. This is simple economics: more colors means more money.
2. No copyrighted stuff. We're not selling these at the swap meet, so no Rasta Bart Simpson or whatever crap you pulled off Google image search, OK?
3. I don't have a third guideline, but it seems like these things should always come in threes. So, uhh... wha-bam! There it is.
4. Oh wait, I do have a third guideline! Crap! Anyway, your original designs should either be in a vector format (preferred) or at least 300dpi. There are other considerations like fonts and stuff, but we'll get to that later.
So with that, let's start seeing some t-shirt magic, people!

Yeah man, some love for Canada, " Here's an idea for your next line of t-shirts:SHIP THEM TO CANADA.
"
While I'm willing to go to a friend's house in the US to get the shirt, cause love y'all at GB, that's still kinda shitty
:)
Whatever design I could do, would NEVER be chosen
The best shirt would be the exact picture of the woman with the "never" banner. Might be copyright but if it's possible it'd be best design.

Agreed, that'd be the purest version of the gag, and it would still be funny. But part of the joke (for me, anyway) is now taking it out of context and turning it into a graphic that doesn't hang on that original thing. Sort of 'variation on a theme' type stuff." The best shirt would be the exact picture of the woman with the "never" banner. Might be copyright but if it's possible it'd be best design. "
Ultimately, though, I still concur that the original thing is still hard to beat as a streamlined idea. Just a woman looking disapprovingly with the word 'NEVER' is a pretty self-encapsulating and funny concept.

I live in Canada, and they shipped my Limited edition Brad T-shirt here." You could just put the transcript of the "Never" conversation on the front of t-shirt. Yeah, you could do that and then you couldSHIP THEM TO CANADA.

I agree. buzz_clik, I am contracting you to make a Game Cop shirt!" @buzz_clik: Maybe you like it like that but I think it might be cooler if the words and block were the same color but the main shirt color was like a navy blue or something. Also, there needs to be a Game Cop reference somewhere. "

I think it would be hilarious if they made a shirt that had Game Cop saying "I gotta drive to the other side of town because ecstasy prices are better there".

Question to staff: Are the shirt colors limited to black/white? Also, does the style of the shirt matter? Are you guys looking for more of a graphical design or is typography ok?
