GotG Round 2: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves vs. Minecraft

Guys. Seriously seriously consider this. This isn't "What Game Do You Like More", this is "Game of the Generation". Think about Minecraft, not about how much you like it. But about what it's doing for young soon-to-be gamers. Minecraft's titanic importance to this and every future generation could never be overstated. Minecraft, by a landslide. Even though I liked playing Uncharted 2 more.

Do you run down the shiny corridor and shoot guys until you get a shiny cutscene? Yes? No?

So because a game looks good and has rather linear design, it's "just another cinematic shooter". Get the stick out of your ass.

This is great. This is like asking, "do you like to think or do you like to do what you're told for shiny gold star rewards?"

And Minecraft is basically virtual LEGOs. See, it's easy to be reductive.

nah, uncharted 3 was pretty underwhelming compared to how huge of a leap uncharted 2 was. Honestly, I completely lost steam once I got to the ship wreck yard... I beat the game, but that last third wasnt good. Opinions are opinions though.

If Uncharted 2 doesn't win then you can all go fuck yourselves... yeah.

Minecraft is more important. People will still be playing it years from now, maybe many. It's great for kids. It encourages creativity. Some dude built a bloody cpu in it or something like that. It's not another step in the direction of games being more like films that you interact with, but don't require thought like a David cage game. Uncharted was pretty, I would watch my girlfriend play it.

I don't play minecraft but it gets my vote.
