The SOCOM games are the best competitive shooters to date (2 was unreal). The prospect of playing them on the PC is exciting as all hell.

I really hope it turns out like SOCOM 2. I played the shit out of SOCOM 2 & 3 back in the day. SOCOM Confrontation and SOCOM 4 were huge disappointments.

Yup, I backed this last year. Can't wait. I'm always down for more tactical shooters as they seem to have gone the way of the Dodo. I'll have to read H-Hour's KIckstarter page and decide if I want to back it or not.

SOCOM doesn't have any pull with me, so I'll rather watch from the sidelines and eventually buy it if it turns out to be good/fun on PC.

Man, SOCOM 2 on PC. That's what I need right now in my life. I need this. Shooters nowadays suck. The excitement I had from SOCOM 2 was briefly rekindled in the form of MGO. However, MGO is longer with us ,_,

I'm confused by some of the stretch goals. At 1.5 million it says they'll complete the PC version of the game. So what exactly are we getting with this, a game or the promise of a game? I mean I guess all of Kickstarter is a promise of a game, but for 200,000 dollars they're going to shop it and use their charisma to hopefully get it made.

I'm so confused. A Kickstarter for a demo that will eventually go retail...? My head hurts.

WHY IS H-HOUR SOCOM? This is why:

• PS4 Confirmed

• Being made by Creative Director of S1 and S2 (David Sears)

• Victory Dancing

• Custom Taunting

• Lobby System (Voice and Text Chat Included)

• Classic Server list view

• Custom Lobby Rooms

• NO Health Regeneration

• Opening doors, triggering explosives, shooting out lights (intended)

• Select Fire

• Backblast (AT4s - just like SOCOM)

• Private Rooms

• Guns Hot

• Strafing Gunfights (community decides, David Sears enjoyed them)

• Prone Dive (David Sears likes the idea, could be added)

• Grenade Arc

• Clan System (clan management and support)

• Clan Page, clan emails

• U.S Special Forces VS. Terrorist

• Female voice HQ (like in original SOCOMs)

• NO VEHICLES

• Leaning (D-pad lean like old SOCOMs)

• Third person view default (first person view option)

• No OTS, view will be like old school SOCOM

• No Sprint (Analog stick will determine speed like old SOCOMs)

• Maps designed around one game mode

• Round based is primary focus (respawns can be made like old SOCOMs)

• Jump to climb (will be put in if community wants it)

• Game speed will be like SOCOM 1 and SOCOM 2 (action is more important than animation)

• Online 8v8 with Spectator mode

• urban maps, rural maps, desert maps, arctic maps, jungle maps

• NOT a simulator (which means it will play more like SOCOM)

• Push to talk will be a decision based on community feedback

• Ranking system similar to SOCOM 2

• Confirmed modes so far will be demolition, suppression, escort, and breach under different names

Easily. SOCOM II is still the best multiplayer experience I've ever had.
