Half-way there: What's your GOTY so far?

I am not really qualified to name any game GOTY at this point having only played 3 from this year's selection (and having not 't finished any), but right now of those 3 the front runner is Mortal Kombat.

Deep story mode. Really fun online modes (despite the nearly broken matchmaking). Extras like crazy. Tower challenges and so on. It's an excellent value and I don't consider myself a fighting game player in the least.  My friends and I have been having a blast beating on each other incompetently.

You?

Skyrim. I haven't played it but if you can call lightning onto your enemies and stab them in the stomach that's GOTY for me.

Portal 2. 
 
If we're gonna speculate, then by the end of the year it might be Assassins Creed: Revelations or Uncharted 3, but for now Portal 2 takes it, with LA Noire being a close second. 

I've played fifteen 2011 releases so far. Muchi Muchi Pork! & Pink Sweets has been hands down the best one. 

I haven't played much Pink Sweets, but Pork is a goddamn delight. The scoring system is amazing.

As of right now, not playing anything in the future, I'd vote for Portal 2. But the year is still young and Portal2 may not be the last man standing.

Dirt 3.

Followed closely by Portal 2.

Right now I'd say L.A. Noire, but I fully expect to see Uncharted 3 or Skyrim take the #1 spot by the end of the year.

Edit: Batman Arkham City might be in the running too, but I expect Skyrim to win for me.

I've only played two games from this year (Portal 2 and Dead Space 2). Out of that sample, Portal 2 by a gazillion years.

L.A. Noire followed by Portal 2 and Dead Space 2

Skyrim.

So far Portal 2, but I expect Skyrim to easily change my vote.

Seriously though, that game is someone everyone with a DS needs to play.

Other than that I have really loved Outland, The Next Big Thing and Tiny Wings.

InFamous 2 or Portal 2. Expecting either Arkham City or Skyrim to overtake it though.

 Portal 2 I'd say. Followed by Dead Space 2 and LA Noire. By the end of the year it might be Skyrim or Deus Ex.

It's definitely Portal 2.

Nothing's blown my mind so far but Shogun 2 is alright. I hope Serious Sam 3 delivers.

for me L.A. noire, infamous 2 thus far but probably also skyrim and arkham city

Those three have been my favorite so far this year.

I really can't decide between Portal 2 and Ghost Trick...
 
Edit: After thinking about it some more, I would pick GT over P2...

I'm not going to speculate.

The Witcher 2 was amazing and L.A Noire's story was very well written.

So far, probably L.A. Noire followed by Portal 2.

I hope that's not what it is by year end.

I'd go with Portal 2 so far, but I really hope Child of Eden is good enough to become my GOTY. I've been way excited for it to come out!

Dead Space 2

So far it's Outland and then Marvel Vs Capcom 3, but I really dug Oblivion, so Skyrim will probably take that spot by the year's end.

The Witcher 2, by quite a wide margin.

I doubt Skyrim will change my mind, as I prefer more story focused games.. ME3 is the big contender, but I really hope they haven't dumped more of the RPG stuff in favour of more shooting.

Right now its between Portal 2, Pokemon White, and Ghost Trick.

It'll probably be either Ghost Trick or L.A. Noire.... If i pick right this second, it's Ghost Trick.

Portal 2 for sure, followed by Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2. I also like the Witcher 2 a lot but haven't finished it! 222222222, 222222.

I have a huge soft spot in my heart for Dead Space 2, but I'd probably have to give it L.A. Noire. I haven't played Portal 2 yet, I probably should do that soon.
