looks great. it would be nice to get a break from the dark and dingy feel of the GTA 4 and Lost and Damned campaign. This has a cool Vice City-ish feel.
I hope that parachute is controllable and not an in-game cut scene. That helicopter looks bomb. I don't know if I like all of the gay undertones in these expansions though. They seem a little too gay to me.
It's still downloading in HD, but I already know I'll be into it. Glad the improved bike handling of TLAD is present here (I assume since I saw one of the bikes in a screenshot); hopefully the music and weapons and peds will be too. I also hope the crappy visual filters (not the noise) tinting the colors are removed or fixed. TLAD looked mostly yellow-ish green (or 70's lookin, according to Ryan) and blue. edit: YES the color variety is back! I take back all my cursing about gays claiming rainbows instead of unicorns.
Glad they're putting this out on disc for those who also own a 360 but opted for another platform when buying the main game. I still think we're going to hear something about the episodes hitting the other MS platform (GFW-PC) near the end of the year.
I watched this so many time its so fucking awesome. Hopefully, no one picks out on the greatness of Pjanoo though, I got sick of Call on Me when i heard it at every fucking frat party last year.
Looks awesome... but what I don't see from anywhere, is that is there an option just to download this? Or do I still have to get the disc even though I bought TLAD? I'm confused.
@Rowr: yes, yes it is, I love dance music and this song is a classic. The song really threw me for a loop, so rare to hear this kinda stuff in game trailers.
I think GTA as a series has reached some kind of zenith; the production quality of the trailers is nothing short of impressive. it may be as far as games could go in making the visuals cinematic this generation at least. I earnestly hope the next GTA makes a return to Vice City.
