Or gaming has been dead lately... no hype, no games, most gaming talk i've seen on GB is Persona.
Is it just me?
Havn't been paying much attention have you?
I mean, I havn't either but theres a Kojima announcement coming, E3 just around the corner, and incase you ahvn't noticed the recession is killing lots of studios and businesses are being cautios so it's natural there wouldn't be a huge amount of stuff.
Also, modern warfare 2, Mass Effect 2 news on the way. and im sure more ive not payed attention to.
I've seen the Kojima things... not much hype on that... just people talking about it for a bit and got over it.
I can careless about news... i want something to play!
well its the the middle of 2nd quarter and before e3 its normally dead around this time
after e3 you'll have your buzz and excitement
I'm looking forward to Infamous, Prototype, and Champions Online... but yes, I agree it has felt very dead lately. I have had nothing new to play for a very long time. The last new game I bought was Killzone 2 on the release day. I've bought some others, but they are old games from 07/08.

If you want something to play go and look. Theres tons out there, some if it is even new.
Bionic Commando, Riddick, Devil Summoner 2, inFamous, Plants vs Zombies etc. And thats just the last couple weeks.
I thought its been a bang up year so far mostly because I love games everyone hates
killzone 2 and re5 were good
godfather 2 was actually my game of the year till I got infamous (I've had it for a day now)
and my sick addiction to DW gundam 2 where I've log 79 hours playing it
Well, I think all the hype has gone to games that we think might come out this year but probably isn't. Like anything blizzard or valve makes.
This is a slower period... Infamous is the only thing that is coming out NOW. You'll have to wait for E3 for any news though.
If there isn't anything new, why not go Retro? I'm sure there's a bunch of elite titles you've never played that are cheap, like the inexplicably overlooked "the Darkness" by the makers of Bioshock.
Publisher =/= Developer.
If you're gonna throw up a fact as least google it first, Starbreeze developed The Darkness, the same people who make the Chronicles of Riddick games (with their own proprietary engine no less, a very impressive one)
2K Games published both The Darkness and Bioshock, but that is all they share in common, 2K didnt make it they don't own Starbreeze. They did make Bioshock though.
Agreed I really enjoyed it, although it definately had flaws it's cheap enough now that you can ignore those.
