It does look like no one told him about lockdown and he has been going into the empty studio every day. Kinda like last man on earth.

Jan if you're reading this and still can do this, plz do this for every chair with body language imitations for who would be sitting there. "The Council of Jans". I mean you've already nailed the "staring into the middle distance" superpower that comes with the throne. Then keep the pics for a stretch goal for Extra Life or something.

You might've missed it elsewhere, but they've said they're having a new studio built/designed for when they all return as part of also moving to a different floor when RV full take over.

Vinny mentioned in the site going-ons thread that he is inventorying the East's equipment this week, so it makes sense West is doing the same.

Did they say why RV isn't just taking over the lease on the existing floor?

@frytup: I don't remember them saying that. My guess is that they either need more space, less space, or a floor that they can renovate to suit their needs.

If I remember correctly Cnet was on a different floor to the basement that had GB and GS. Maybe they are moving them all to one.

This is just reminding me of Pokemonday night combat streams with Jan and the bean bag. Now I'm sad.

Good news! They're looking to get a new studio and Ben specifically asked for a new couch if they get it!

@fugoy: For really real? Wow, Ben was specifically who I was thinking of when I had to consider if voicing support for couches was selfish as hell. That's kinda cool, actually, perked me up. TyTy for that.

@fugitivej: Step-up box for guests. Jan will need and probably can achieve a system of ropes and pulleys to lift him from his perch to the others. After that you're really into the long grass with Peter Jackson-esque postioning of elements closer to and farther away from the cameras and with all the switching....chaos reigns.

Spoiler alert - GiantBomb doesn't really exist. The last 10+ years has really just been us watching characters in Jan's imagination. Every time they change studios, it's really just Jan reflecting on moving in real life. Pull back from the Bombcast and it's just a studio in a snow globe.

I'm always curious if there's more excitement for GB when they have to create a new studio or more frustration having to start over. The only thing I can equate it to is when I've had to move classrooms. Having to take all my stuff down and then set it up again is a pain, but I'd imagine different possibilities makes this more exciting for them?

"Jeff" was the name of Jan's childhood sled.
