I just heard about kane lynch 2 which was announced recently, who do you think should review the game:-)
Sorry, for the mistake in the title mistyped it
Kane and Lynch 2 announced! Who will to review it at giantbomb
" Jeff should just 5 star it and ask not to get fired this time phahaha "Nobody can fire him this time around.
" @jakob187 said:I'd like to see that, and then watch Jeff give it 2 stars and not get fired." Duh, we know we all want Jeff to review it. "Since Giantbomb started receiving ads from games like Halo 3: ODST and Assassin's Creed II, would anyone else find it ironic if the site was covered with Kane and Lynch ads when the sequel comes out? "
It only makes sense for Jeff to review it because he has played and reviewed the first. The fact that he lost his last job over it should have nothing to do with the review here. Grow up, guys.

I so would. o.o;
Kane & Lynch 2!? Why do crap games get sequels? Why is this becoming a media franchise, of sorts? (There's a movie, too.)
First game was abysmal so i'm willing to bet that the sequel will be just as shit. And how come these shitty games get a sequel?
Believe it or not, the developers of Kane & Lynch had some serious pedigree going into this.So I'm looking forward to this because it could actually be a good game.
" Jeff should just 5 star it and ask not to get fired this time phahaha "That would be a hilarious review. Just 5 stars and "Please don't fire me."
Anyway, obviously they'll have Luchadeer take the fall.
I want Jeff to review it since it's the perfect circle. He should review it because objectively he was the one to review the last one and so knows it best. And I reckon he will review because he will want to himself. However I reckon there may only be a brief allusion to the whole GameSpot thing and that he'll generally just give a professional review.
But then this is Giant Bomb so maybe they'll do something really clever about it and make it a big deal.
I believe Jeff himself has said that he will review it in some bombcast... he said something like "its going to be weird when I review K&L2"
besides Jeff usually reviews the shooters (except L4D2, but we knew he wasnt a big fan of the first). off the top of my head he reviewed gears 2, halo odst, mw2, borderlands, cod waw, killzone 2... probably more
" Duh, we know we all want Jeff to review it. "Which is exactly why Coonce should do it.
You know what I think is funny?
No one knows for sure that the K&L review was the real reason. We can only speculate. However, I'd like to see Jeff give a review for the game and flat-out give the reason for it. Unfortunately, I think that there's some legal issue with all that. I do remember there being an episode of Invisible Walls (or whatever the thing is called over at GameTrailers), and there was a guy on there that flat-out said that was the reason Jeff got fired...and even listed Jeff by name.
Nonetheless, Jeff has to be the one to review this game. It would only be fitting to see if he likes the second one. If he does, then we know we're set.

"Yeah, Jeff was asked on XPlay once but he said he couldn't comment on what happened. Freelance journalist Frank Provo of Gamespot resigned soon after he was fired, and wrote an angry blog essentially saying that CNET sold out. It all sounded way too suspicious, but there was no official confirmation by anyone I think. Just curious, do you remember who the guy who went on Invisible Walls was? All I remember was Keighley bringing it up on the "Bonus Round" and Dan Hsu said Jeff may have slept with the boss' wife.
Video review should be Jeff just standing staring into the camera saying nothing for 2 minutes and just fade to black. Whatever he gives it pops up, end of video.

That's silly.
Why would anybody's wife sleep with Jeff Gerstmann?
