Darkwing Duck for the NES about a week ago was my last physical game purchase, but I bought Wipeout HD and the Fury add on pack today.
Last time you bought a game, what was it?
" @rjayb89 said:My experience with the game so far has been a very enjoyable one. First and foremost, I enjoy the music the game is featured around - hip hop, rap, some rock music - of course, there are a few songs you dislike (Rihanna - Disturbia for me, in particular) which is something you oughta expect with a game that has over 90 mixes. If you've played other rhythm games, namely Guitar Hero, it isn't as fully featured as you might hope since you can't make your own DJ (some made up name, or your own avatar), but you can create your own setlist using songs already in the game. Lastly, the turntable controller can get some getting used it, fortunately for me, I've played the game over at a relative's house rather casually, so I was familiar with the game from the get-go. Juggling a crossfader, turn dial, vinyl, and the vinyl butons can get a little tricky, but you'll eventually get the hang of managing your handling of the controller by associating certain patterns visible on the "track" with small things like a widened line, signifying tracks if you "perfect" you'll gain "euphoria" (basically your star power), to darkened "tracks" signifying that you should crossfade soon." I bought DJ Hero like last week. It was $50, so I had to. "Would you say that was a good buy? You see, I have been considering buying it, but I really don't know if it's just a waste of money or if it's actually fun... "
So yes, I think it was a worthy purchase especially with someone who isn't particularly fond of rhythm games because of how similar they are (Guitar Hero and Rock Band), this game brings something relatively new to the genre. And something that can be overwhelmingly difficult sometimes because of some mixes by the Scratch Perverts. Their songs left my wrists really sore. So there you have it, me thinking about the game for ten minutes.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition- Steam for $15, never played it at all before.
Infinite Space, and Ace Attorney: Investigations, couple weeks ago. DS is just more cost efficient right now.
Now that I think about it, I could've got Mass Effect 2 for the same amount instead.
So yeah, I'm very confused inside.
I bought Plain Sight 8 days ago, it's quite good.

I'll most likely check it out. I kinda made up my mind about the game only days ago. But I have been on and off about buying this game for over a month now, so when short on cash these decisions can be kinda hard. Even when I have decided to go get it, dragging me arse to the local game retailer can be just as much of a challenge like deciding if I am to buy the game in the first place. Anyways, like you said, first and foremost, you enjoyed the music. That is the main selling-point for me too I guess. I've seen the track list and it looks really good. Even thou, like you also said, there is some crap there too -- Rihanna...
BFBC2... which I kind of regret. I should have known better than to buy a DICE MP game so close to launch. Connection issues are my main problem right now aside from some of the problems with the game itself. Weird how I never experienced any disconnects or login failures in the beta.
Bought Splinter Cell Conviction today. Had been a while since I bought a game, I think my last purchase was Mass Effect 2.
About two weeks ago I picked up copies of Just Cause 2 and Prince of Persia in my local GAME store. £45 for both.
