@ZeForgotten: i was totally unaware of the fact that the whiskey media bar was a fully operating bar that was open to the public... its a private bar. mike rowe must be a friend of a friend or something. you don't just walk up to a fuckin office and assume there must be a bar downstairs with dozens of people partying all night and that its totally cool for you to just stroll right on in. not to mention the fact that he's a celebrity.

I think he was there because it's a bar and people drink when it's St. Patricks Day. Sooo, drinking would be my guess. There could be a deeper meaning behind it but there's really not. It's either profit or drinking. It's always money, though "

I assumed the picture was taken at the Whiskey office. When I hear "Whiskey Media" and "bar" I think of the bar they've got in their basement. I don't think of St. Patrick's Day as being big enough to actually go out to a party. Especially on a Thursday. My mistake.
I use to run into the Mythbusters guys seeing how they filmed on my side of the Bay Area. I use to live next to the Alameda Air Station they do some of their experiments at. Mike Rowe lives in S.F., and not just any part of S.F. the fancy part. He has a nice condo.

no you're right it is the whiskey media office bar. you can tell buy the brick ceiling. whatever dude. mike rowe stopped by. not a big deal. theres pleanty of people in that office who may have ties with whoever he has worked with in the past. lets not forget that whiskey media is making some headway in the media business. mike rowe lives in the area. and obviously its not unlikely that someone who works there is either a friend of mikes, a friend of a friend of mikes, or has worked with him in the past. he does a lot of stuff guys. Dirty Jobs takes up only a few months of the year (if that) and the ford commercials take maybe one day to make (for him at least). So I'm sure he's into all kinds of other stuff in the rest of his time.

the only thing i can link to Mike Rowe being there is that, from what i know, Discovery is based in San Fransisco (or a part of it) (i could be wrong though). Or maybe Mike Rowe lives in San Fran. But why aren't the Mythbusters there? They're shop is in San Fran. Pretty awesome still.
Man, I haven't seen his show in years. But it was always right up there with Mythbusters of must watch Discovery Channel shows. That show was awesome, and so was Mike Rowe.
