I'm sure this topic has been made at some point but I was just going through Diablo 3 on Hell and reached the aquaducts. Unfortunately I didn't have the option to leave Covetous Shen in that barrel. I have to say he is one of the most annoying characters I have ever come across in a videogame. I find his voice to be grating and he seriously does not shut the fuck up. My fellow giantbomb users I ask you, what videogame characters have annoyed you to hell and back? If this topic has come up recently I apologize.

I can see what you mean. I wish they gave him more dialogue because it really does get repetitive after a while. My templar is at level 41 now so i'm sort of used to having him around. Maybe I will swtich out for a different one on the next act though.

Plus Fi serves no goddamn purpose to the plot. All I remember of her was that when she gave advice, she'd dance around for no reason. Oh, and her idea of lyrical beauty was "I MUST MAKE A FACE LIKE SOMEBODY IS SHOVING A FELINE UP MY RECTUM".
Probably just because of his voice, but I really thought Hargreave in Crysis 2 was severely annoying in spots. He's a minor character compared to most others could probably come up with, but still, damn. Oh, and for those that said Hope, I would have to agree if you consider the first 15 or so hours of the game, 'cause later he grows on you, or he at least becomes far less annoying.
Most JRPG characters annoy the hell out of me. I get sick of all their melodrama and guessing whether which characters are guys and which are girls. Edit: That came off as kind of trollish, but I really can't stand the genre in general, even though I know not all games are as I described.

The only reason I put up with Hope is because he is the best healer in the party. The one FFXIII character I found annoying is Snow. Do NPCs count for being the most annoying? The ones in the first Assassins Creed, the crazies and the drunkards. Altair is in prayer as part of his disguise. Then those assholes will only shove you, blowing your cover. Then you are forced to fight a wave of Templar soldiers until you have killed them all or ran away. The game will take a small life bar away for killing those NPCs.
