Hey guys and gals. I am getting new parts for my PC but am keeping the old case and re using the GPU and disc drive, just wondering if I have to uninstall any drivers or anything before removing it? thanks in advance

That really depends on what parts you're changing. If you're changing the motherboard and keeping the HDD (what I assume to be the "disc drive" you mention), I would suggest doing a full wipe and reinstalling Windows from scratch. You can get away with no Windows reinstalling with a new CPU or GPU, but I strongly suggest you do it for a new mobo.

If you're not keeping the hard disk... there are no drivers to uninstall really.

Yup. If you are upgrading your mobo you might as well back up things you don't want to lose and do a full install.
