Nintendo eShop Holiday Sale?

I was trying to see if this was an existing topic/question in the forums, but couldn't find anything, so I'll break ground here:

Does Nintendo have a winter holiday or Christmas sale on their eShop store? I didn't get a Switch until past Christmas last year, so I'm not sure if I should be looking forward to last-minute deals towards the end of this year.

They've been having them for the past few years at least so it's likely that will continue. Probably expect it to start within the next week judging by how it's been in previous years.
