Hi, I’m a long time gamer and new listener to the show. I recently purchased the Steel Series X9 for my day one edition Xbox One. Well really I bought it for my Xbox series x preorder. But anyway, I’ve been having a rough go with it completely losing audio and chat every few minutes. My wonder is if it’s the headset or my older version of the Xbox one? Did the tech change on “Xbox wireless” which the jump to the Xbox one x? Should I expect the headset to work better on the series x?

Thanks for the input.

If it helps any, I just purchased the Astro A20 gen 2 headset that is marketed for the series X and it has been working just fine with my OG Xbox one. Zero drop outs in the week I have been using them. It has a usb dongle thing that you plug into the Xbox for wireless connectivity.
