The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe (Hitchcock made movies, Poe wrote poems). I like that analogy, especially when applied to Wal-Mart.
definitely worth it, man. darksiders isn't revolutionary by any stretch, but it's the type of game that pulls at all of the right nostalgic, zelda-esque heart strings. :)
@melcene: The original store copy also doesn't come with stuff right? Only the collectors thingie? I'm not paying 70 euro's (yes, its that much around here) for a digital pet and a soundtrack which I can download for free or buy in a few months for 10 bucks. I was considering to buy a special edition this time around, I like the TCG cards actually, but 70 euro is a lot of money.
So I spend 35 on the presale, meaning I don't have to slip and slide my way through the snow to get my copy, deal with gamers who can't either believe I'm picking up a copy for myself or refuse to believe I'm actually good at the game and I get to spend 35 euro on other stuff, or 3 months of WoW. ^^
@TaliciaDragonsong: The husband and I are suckers for the collectors editions :( But on the bright side, we ordered our collectors editions online, so no going to the store to pick them up.
@melcene: I see! Well I really hope you get it delivered on launch day then luv! Not sure how the weather there is but over here its mental. That, and humanity seems to lose their motivation and balance when it snows.
November pickin's Pretty much my purchases this past month. im really loving AC:B, and bought a kinect to bring to my family thanksgiving party and they loved the hell out of it.
WOW! How did that copy of Mass Effect 2 buy a person? I want to buy a person. Where can you buy a person? I keep checking Wal Mart, but they are always out of stock.
@crusader8463: I would be somewhat more concerned with how a copy of Mass Effect 2 had presumably developed conscious awareness &a method of communication? Additionally if you are being amusing about the fact I'm in the picture, I'd no other way of suspending the game midair far enough away from my webcam that it would actually focus, &on an angle that wouldn't reflect light against the cover &turn it into an unintelligible mess of white Can replace the original picture with one not including my face if you'd like
Being an animator/Disney collector/crazy person, I had to get the Epic Mickey collector's edition. The Mickey figure goes awesome with the Oswald statue I already had.
Was in doing some Christmas shopping earlier today. Missed my train back home by 5minutes. Ended up checking the near-by games store and leaving with these:
I digitally bought it so i can't really take a picture? guess i could screen grab the online receipt but anyways the latest game i bought is World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
If i wasn't so sick of the day of the release i would of went and bought it because i hate digital downloads but said screw it and go figure i couldn't play it for 2 days because i couldn't stop vomiting.
