Steam Dealz (Atari 80 Games in 1)
"I agree. I mean you can't possibly have fun with these games. It's like buying 80 pieces of junk. :D

Hm, I'd probably only play a few; Asteroids, Crystal Castles, Missile Command, Adventure, Yars' Revenge." @HitmanAgent47 said:

" because on PC they have illegal roms to compete with "But Game Room is also on GFWL.
This is just the PC version of a games collection released on the PS2 and original Xbox. You can probably still get it used for about the same price without much trouble. I had this collection and gave it to my nephew. It really isn't all that special especially since it's just Atari games and doesn't include the 2600 Activision stuff which was far superior. Do you really have a hankering to play 2600 Pac-Man?
They charge so much because they can, Because they want to make profit, the makers of said games actually want too make money?
Do you think vavle has all these deals because they want to make the users happy? thats only half the equation.
User happy=buy more stuff.
They do all these deals because it leads people to trust the brand, the company and then buy more stuff thus netting them more money.
If you dont like what Microsoft charges then you have this option...but you get no achievements, no multiplayer from the looks, no challenges to setup... nothing its just the games...and really thats boring do you think even 80% of the people that buy stuff on the gameroom do it because they want to relive memories of vector based graphics and such? no most do it for achievements, challenges, hanging out with friends...ect online.

"Sounds like they nailed exactly what they were going for. Scoreboards and other social aspects are what kept people dropping quarters into machines for the longest time.

Let the Atari 2600 die. Most of those games were bad in that day and age, and now are even worse!" Yuck. Why can't they just let Atari 2600 games die already! "
Although the volleyball game was groovy. Still no bikini graphics. xD
