hey Logan, the first game i played has got to be rayman. At its time rayman was fucking awesome, and i still wont hesitate to buy a rayman game if the series was updated.

I don't know. I must have been like two years old or something considering I was born in 86 and we had a NES by 88, but my guess would be Super Mario Bros. since I believe that came with the console.

I don't remember the name of the game but it was an Atari 2600 game where you had to defend cities from falling nuclear bombs. If anyone here remember the name for the game the please let me know.

The first ones that stick in my head were either Zork or Bard's Tale on an old green monochrome Apple IIe. Before that it was just pushing buttons and pretending to play the Atari or Texas Instrument.

@Mordukai: Sounds like "Missile Command"  to me.

My first game was Super Mario Bros, I guess I'm just part of that generation of gamers.

I don't know for certain, but the earliest that I can recall was Mouse Trap (a maze game) for the Vic-20. I got my hands on a Vic-20 when I was about eight years old and Mouse Trap was one of the few games I picked up for a couple bucks a piece at a local computer shop. I didn't really grow up around gamers or play games myself. Not that I wouldn't have been interested, but I had other things on my plate.

My first home video game was Pong in the middle 1970's on the Atari 2600 (home console) and Space Invaders (arcade) at the local pub in the late 1970's.  Even though I was young, the bar patrons had no problem with me being there by myself playing the game and most of them would give me quarters because they loved to watch me play!  :)

Asteroids (arcade) soon followed, which I played at the same local pub..

Good times!

P.S.  Also I played a Dungeons and Dragons type game (text adventure) on the Apple IIe personal computer in the early 1980's.  Those are the earliest games I remember playing.

some cool games been played here, i also remember Final Fantasy III on PS1 it was good when you got into it, but it can get boring if you don't like RPG.

IF IT IS POSSIBLE, CAN YOU ALSO INSERT A SMALL IMAGE OF THE GAME CASE IF YOU CAN FIND ONE.

P.S. I also played SEGA SONIC on the the SPECTRUM, it was very boring because all you did was hold right and he will do all the running for you, unlike today's sonic where you can run around freeley.
