Look at this big dumb thing I made!
THE RUNS: Dan VS Vinny
2 minutes in and this is the fucking best!
The Ryan face in the middle just adds to it. I really have no words. This is so good!
Edit: 8mins in, WHY HAVEN'T GB HIRED YOU!? This is so fucking good!
Holy shit, the production values! Although i will blame you if Dan forces Vinny into another match during a random quick look again.
Aw yeah, I could tell from that editing that it was the Giant VS Bomb/Demon's Souls guy at it again. Great job!
This is cool but I believe there is a rule against using premium content in your videos, so heads up on that.
@mattyftm: too long, putting in the win/loss record was a bad idea.
@dudeglove: YUP, i was slow on this one.
@wallofbricks: Dude, amazing. Love the Ryan face at the top. Thank you so much. This music is dope.
@wallofbricks: That was super good! Thanks for sharing that
This was a ton of fun to watch. Thanks for this, it's amazing!
Edit: I just took a look at your channel, and I really like your editing. Subbed for more :)
Oh, I forgot about this! This was my Dreamcast's BoTW. This is probably still the best fighting game, even compared to it's sharper looking follow ups and my beloved fake girlfriend Seung Mina is still the best fighter of all time. I'm sure science would back me up here if it had the funding.
@wallofbricks: I asked this on the Youtube Channel, but Youtube comments are garbage sectors where only the MOST awful people dwell, so I figured I'd ask here:
How hard did you have to work to get the sound-cues synced up? Cause they are PERFECT throughout. How long did this take overall?
Edit: I didn't phrase that well: did you have a song in mind for each scene, and then you edited around it? Or did the scenes themselves present obvious song pairings?
@undeadpool: First off i usually dont even consider making a video until I have a nice scrapbook of music i want to use (playlist) Then I''ll start dropping footage onto the tracks and see if what kind of cuts the music dictates. You'd be surprised how often things just sync up on there own, like that soul calibur intro video with the weapons dropping matched the drum hits of the Conan song perfectly without any manipulation. Also editing with the waveforms visible makes it really easy to sync things up.

The moment that REALLY stood out to me was Vinny's half-rap syncing perfectly with the music.
Thanks for answering and well done again! I'm not even usually into a lot of this music, but it all fit perfectly.
@undeadpool: I actually did tinker with that so his hot rhymes landed in a little bit of a breakdown.
