Hey guys,

So I recently got a Samsung series 8000 55" LED, 240 Hz, 5,000,00:1 DCR, and I want to connect my PS3 to it so I can enjoy GOW 3 in all its glory. Can someone please help me in the TV settings department? I want to set the TV to the settings that will make the picture look as good as possible when Im playing. Do I set the automotion 240 HZ to maximum? Do I set the contrast ration to maximum? I would really appreciate it if I got some help on this. Thanks guys

you should leave those settings on default. Only make minor changes after viewing the game if you think they're necesary.

Also, I'm pretty sure that automotion thing is this new thing TVs use that basically try to make the motion EXTREMELY smooth, but I'm pretty sure everyone says it looks terrible, especially for games. I wouldn't bother. Just leave it on the standard HZ number.

Just use HDMI, set that shit to 1080P (if the tv has it, im not looking up the model to find out), and test it out. should look great.
