I'm a big fan of cornbread for sandwiches. Problem is, it's the kind of thing that comes about rarely. (I can hardly ever find affordable corn bread in the grocery stores in my area.)

Babies dipped in BBQ sauce, you have to eat it from the legs up though because the screams add so much to the flavour.

What I had today was pretty close to perfect; it was a French Loaf (baguette) with spicy Chinese chicken slices, butter, mayonnaise, lettuce and baby tomatoes. Awesome.
 
But on most days I just have a pretty plain sandwich. Slightly mature chedder cheese on a soft white loaf.

I like open faced, although a good French baguette is hard to argue with. As far as contents, either peanut butter and nutella or ham, some good cheese and some barbecue chips.
