What was your first console?

The N64 was my first system.

nintendo was my first console. 

Sega Game Gear.

I kinda consider the Commodor 64 to be a console, so I will go with that. And the Sega Master System 2.

I would like to know who had a Magnavox Odyssey and if they had Shooting Gallery.

An old beat up NES that we got at a garage sale. It was glorious.

I got both the NES and SNES at the same time as hand-me-downs. I was probably about 5 or 6 at the time.

I had a Super Pong home console in 1978, so that was my first.  Later, I got a 2600.

Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo

NES baby i still whip it out every once and awhile and for some reason the only games that stopped working were the megaman ones

SNES. 1993. I was four and it was Christmas, and I completely remember opening it. (:

Had my money on 5th gen winning out. I'm pretty surprised that 3rd gen is taking a commanding lead.

Playstation 2 for me ;) 

My first was the Sony Playstation. I'm glad my dad bought it for me, as it had led me to the world of video games.

I've had a NES literally since before I can remember. I then moved onto SNES, N64, Gamecube... then Xbox 360. I had to stop playing solely Nintendo consoles at some point, eh?

My first console to play was NES, but that was my friend's. my first console to own was ps1

NES but it was 1994

N64. It was Christmas of '98. Such a finely crafted machine.

The first console (not really a console but still) was a Commodore 64! Yay for C64's awesome SID sound chip!

I got two NES consoles from a family friend in 1996. Then a N64 in 1998.

2600, got a used one as a gift, but it was quickly replaced by an NES.

First one I got was a SNES, but the first one I bought myself (with my newspaper monies) was the N64.
 
I did play a lot on the other earlies (NES, most sega consoles, msx, what not) thanks to my dad/siblings tho.
