What I'm saying is, for example somebody's first console could have been the PS2, but then they went and bought a Dreamcast, in your thread, they would say the Dreamcast, but in my thread they would say PS2.

Actually mine is the oldest and first console that you've played or owned before. So that actually encompasses this thread to some degree. No biggie though. It's a pretty old thread anyway.
My dad had a couple of Ataris, Commodores and so on, when I came to be in early '87 - but in '92 I bought my own NES... What a great console *reminiscesses... reminiscesses.... remines...*
The Ol NES, I remember having to go to Florida one year and being only around 7 and being totally hooked on my NES I remember not wanting to leave it home for the whole week. Of course I was told to leave it because my cousin has video games, next thing I knew I was sitting in front of a Atari 2600 and hating it!! I remember none of the games coming close to giving me any enjoyment.... It was hell for the whole week... Damn video game addiction! Not even Mickey could make me happy that week.
My dad got two Nintendo Entertainment System from one of his co-workers. But this was in 1996 right around the time the N64 came out. I bought the N64 a couple months later and a PS1 after that.
Atari 2600. I've been in this since the beginning. My older brother had pong, but honestly I thought that Circus on the Atari was way cooler. Then the Atari 5200, ColecoVision, NES and I've had every non-Sega system since then.
My older brother's NES, then a SNES, then a N64, then PS1, then Dreamcast, then Gamecube, then PS2, and now I have a 360 and a gaming PC. My brother has a Wii I occasionally play. I want a PS3 badly :(.
I don't remember what the first system I played was, but the first system I actually owned for myself was the SNES. Prior to that I was the kid that went to everyone else's house and leached off their stuff and didn't leave.
NES. We got it for Christmas when I was like 4? It was a gift for the whole family, though, so my brothers got the most ouf ot it. I did play it, though, but man, never had much luck with Zelda.

It's funny a lot of people say this, but I really liked Super Mario 2. I'm not sure how I'd rank them, but I'd have a hard time calling Super Mario 2 bad or the worst. Dunno, I'm probably in the minority though. Sorry for the interruption. Back to your regularly scheduled thread...
