Whats the most damage you have done out of a gaming-induced rage?

earlier today i was playing halo and i was just getting into gear. It was sandtrap heavy and I was all ready to pwn the other team in my banshee after successully breaking the enemy's laser hold. Then suddenly the starting game screen appeared. I looked at my computer and saw i was disconnected. I shouted ~"FUCK!!" and threw the controller against the wall as hard as i could, now there is a big dent in the wall. sadface

So im interested to see whether i am that bad after all, fire away!

Stomped the top of the cartridge while it was seated in the SNES.  It wasn't me, but my friend, needless to say his parents wouldn't buy him a new one.

Funny you mention this because just yesterday I finally decided to do the endless set list 2 on Rock Band 2. I played the entire thing on expert drums and was going for the steel bladder achievement. About 6 hours later, on the second to final song "Panic Attack", I failed the song at 98%. The only other song I had left after that was Painkiller which I know I can beat. So yeah, I got really mad and right after I saw the 98% fail screen I slammed my drumsticks down and messed up my blue pad. I think I cracked the plastic under the rubber. But yeah it sounds weird when I hit it now and it doesn't always register. Now I have to play the entire 6+ hour set list again to get steel bladder. LAME.

Cracked my 360 controller open off my hardwood floor...didn't let go just slammed it lol....I think the game was Halo and I was really tired at that point.

Never gotten so mad I have broken something lol. If it ever gets to that point I turn it off and remember its only a game. Not worth breaking my spensive stuff over

Not necessarily out of gaming induced rage but I smashed the shit out of my God of War case when I fell out of bed and it was the nearest thing to take my rage out on.

I wrecked so many SNES controllers as a kid.  And that was difficult, you could chuck those at walls for hours at a time.  Luckily, I had Super Ghosts N Ghosts and was justified.

My brother threw a GameCube controller at my head when I beat him in Mario Kart. Thankfully, I ducked, but it ended up denting the wall.

Nothing bad yet, I just switch off before the key moment where I'll go over the edge.

Last boss/es of Ninja Gaiden 2 of MN.  Still haven' beaten it though.

Stubbed a toe?

• Threw the controller at the wall during a match of Call Of Duty 4 and left a hole
• Got angry during a match of Team SWAT in Halo 3, so I went to take the disc out and hit the Xbox too hard causing it to scratch the disc up
  

Keyed the top of my PS1.

Popped the L and R buttons out of my Dualshock 2. During FFX or X-2, iirc.

I just do the "stare at the TV and drop the controller" thing.

All i have done is give up. Out of rage haha.

Oh yeah, and if you actually got up and did something physically, that's just messed up. FREAKS!! O_O

Uhhh... let's see. I probably got up, walked towards the console, and turned it off.

Successfully put my foot through my Rock Band drum set and tore off the green pad.

it wasn't out of rage but while playing wii baseball, my watch flew off and smashed against the wall and broke right away.

I don't really get mad...

I have broke at least one controller for every system I have owned. I have found the SNES/Xbox controllers to be the most sturdy, and the ps2 controller the most fragile. Keep that in mind when you go on a rampage :p

I have two broken doors (now replaced) and a giant hole in a wall, as well as a broken table.

My brother, now 30, and a well adjusted human being, once picked up the television and smashed in the plug socket with it. He had been knocked out in the semi-finals by Holland, playing the laughably bad Mega drive football game Italia 90'. The idea of this game inspiring such rage is quite laughable now.

Both me and my brother have casued quite a lot of damage because of games, yeap temper problems...
The most recent I was playing super smash bros. brawl lost unfairly and got really pissed off (my bro had been winding me up too). so i threw the controller into my couch then kicked my keyboard (piano keyboard thingy) that flipped off the stand, dented it's left speaker and bent the jack for my sustain pedal (they both still work fine luckily).
Appart from that I've done a lot more, broken many controllers, etc.
My brother actually broke his fist a few days before the keyboard incident on my TV (which luckily is a old, sturdy big one) same game, he lost against one of four friends. He's younger than me.
We've also had various fights because of games (verbal mostly but a couple of physical, they didn't usually last very long).

not me but..my friends little brother (9 year old spoiled little snot) was playing GTA san andreas and got pissed for some reason.

he kept beating the controller repeatedly against the floor and when it finally exploded into buttons and wires my friend beat the living shit out of him ^^ fun times

I was playing Battlefield 1942 and i forget what happen but. sigh... i punched my LCD screen monitor... then i was so pissed about what i just did.... i smashed my keyboard. thats the wrost i have done. but lets just say there are many N64 controllers in heaven right now, from me trying to beat Goldeneye on 007 mode.

Side Note: on the other hand the old school N64 cartridges were so durable! i cant tell you how many time i ripped Goldeneye out of the N64 and threw it at my wall...

I scrached a PSone disc with a pen.

Absolutely none...although I have pounded on my keyboard during PVP in WOW, but that wasn't out of anger.  That had more in common with body english than with game-rage.

I throw my controllers, but only at sofas or chairs.

My keyboards over the years allways had a couple of keys missing, but thats just the way I learned to play CS.
And one time breaking a RAM in half and throwing it out the window, while loudly daming the computer gods.

I never get mad exceptfor  in a fighting game. Once when I was really frustrated in SF IV I threw my controller on the floor and now there's a little damage near the right trigger on my Xbox 360 controller.
