We all have them. Games you KNOW are bad, but for some reason, you just keep playing. Maybe when you freinds would come over you would hide it, and whenever you make a game list on a site, you just "forget" to mention it. Maybe when you were a kid you got it as a gift and because you didn't have alot of games you played it until it grew on you, What is your guilty pleasure? For me it's Home Alone for the NES. My mom got me that game for my birthday and I hated it, but my mom couldn't take it back, so she made me play it. Now I can beat it so easy, I must have beat it 100 times by now. Its kind of like comfort gaming.
What's the worst game you ever LOVED?
I hate to admit it but I had a pretty good time with Sonic Unleashed, I know the night levels were horrible, but once you accept it it's fine. The day levels were kick ass though.
Also Lair, I'm enjoying it so far, it's not the best, but isn't terrible.
Jersey Devil for the Playstation. I actually don't think it's a bad game but most people did, and it has alot of issues... It's extremely frustrating, but when you finally beat a level it's very satisfying.
In one of the first levels there's this T-Rex skeleton mini-boss you have to fight. In JD you have a spin attack (like crash bandicoot) so you have to get close, but this thing has a really long invisible wall around him. And no that's not part of the design. So it's extremely hard to get a hit in. And it just gets worse from there, but yet more satisfying.
"I hate to admit it but I had a pretty good time with Sonic Unleashed, I know the night levels were horrible, but once you accept it it's fine. The day levels were kick ass though."Sing it, brother!
I'd say Trespasser is my worst game ever that I LOVED. Game was too far ahead of it's time. For a few years after it came out, most people called it the worst game ever. There were tons of bugs, floating trees, weird gameplay mechanics (physics based gameplay and a virtual arm that reacts to other physical objects). It was just a really rich game experience. It might not compare to the modern dynamic gameplay of something like Half Life 2, Red Faction Guerfilla, Far Cry 2, or GTA4 but it was impressive at the time.
I like Sonic Unleashed, it wasn't a bad game at all, not great, but underrated. It doesn't qualify anywhere near my worst game, but I didn't 'love' it either.
This. I know it's a super easy game that's very uninteresting in almost every way but I can't help but love it.
It's been a long time, but probably SwordQuest: Earthworld. I spent money on it so I was going to play it all the way through and then some.
So, this game got low reviews and I guess people hated it, but I LOVED Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. I thought it was a good story, had solid gameplay...the camera was a bit unfriendly at times, but I thoroughly enjoyed that game, and I refuse to sell or trade it to a game shop...lol.
I spent an unreal amount of time playing Spider-Man 2 on the PS2. I also played a good amount of Spidey 3. I don't know why but swinging around the city just never got old to me.

Spiderman 2 was really good
For me, it certainly has to be the Dynasty Warriors series. It's the same game reiterated year after year, but me and my friends would play co-op for hours on end. Another bad game I love is Postal 2. Fundamentally very flawed, but overall, its just a silly and fun experience where you never know what's going to happen next.

Earth Defense Force 2017
I know it wasn't great but or even good but I played that game for hours with co-op and it was 40$.
I'll honestly admit 1080: Avalanche was a pretty iffy game. But for whatever reason I played it for a good year. I just enjoyed the music and whatever was there. For the courses being super short it still did have very interesting ideas. The avalanche courses were pretty darn fun to play.
"Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. Love that shit."That was a great game. I hated the console port myself, but the original PC version was awesome.
Uhhh... I liked Sonic Adventure, because I was young and didn't know any better. I also liked Pokemon Colosseum. That game sucks, but it has a disco master who fights to salsa music (?) I also have a tolerance for bad controls, as seen by my enjoyment of the old Resident Evil and Metal Gear games.
"Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. Love that shit."Sick sick man.

P.N. 03 was such a cool game to me, sure it could have been more, but they got the main character right and she was pretty sexy for a game character.
