Hey guys...just wondering who you video game drug dealer is?  Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, Steam, ...?

I my self prefer Steam over all.  I'm a PC/Console game and I really enjoy Steam with all it's awesome sale and it's auto patching and what not.   For my console games, I guess I would say Gamestop or Best Buy.  Sometimes if I can find a sweet deal online I'll get it where ever.  I'm not loyal to either store...just seems like that's where i go.

How about?

MD.

I 'm a big bargain hunter so I usually go to where it's cheapest/get the most for my money. Whether this means pre-order bonus's, gift cards, little trinkets from stores or it coming out at $39.99 instead of the usual $69.99, I'm there.

Now-a-days, I hate buying games on day one since prices often drop so fast.

Cheapassgamer.com! Sorta, if I see a deal there, I'll usually jump on the seller. Common retailers include Toys R' Us, Gamestop, Best Buy, Amazon, etc.

Ebay or Amazon if it doesn't have to be a first day must-have-in-my-possession.  If that's the case then I would have preordered it from GS a long time ago. Beyond that, eh...

Steam for PC games, usually Amazon for anything else, unless I have some coupons for Best Buy.

Steam for PC and GAME for my 360 games. Although if I can find the game I want cheaper on Amazon or play.com I'll get it from there instead.

BestBuy. I'll never buy another game from Walmart again. When Batman AA came out, they advertised if you bought it at Walmart you get a code for the armored bat suite for use in the challenge maps. What they didnt tell you is that regarldess of where you bought the game from, once you beat the single player, that costume backcame unlocked. The fact that they deliberately deceived me means I won't be buying any game from them ever again.

Steam for PC, EBay for the games I wait for price drops on, and usually Best Buy for anything I really want on release or at that moment.  Checking Cheap Ass Gamer regularly is always a good idea.

Now, pretty much always Amazon.  Most preorders give credit on a future release(usually 10-20 bucks). No tax and games are generally a few bucks cheaper.  Prime shipping makes it easier as well.

I usually get my new games from Amazon because there cheaper and I get free release date shipping but if I'm looking for cheap used games I go to Game Stop.

I used to get it at the GameStop that is about 3 minutes away from my house, but I've been buying more and more from Amazon and other online retailers.  If I come across a special sale or a good deal, then I'll get it from the place offering it.

best buy for new releases...you get points and sometimes 2-3-4x points when you buy new releases...sometimes they open at midnight so you know they know that video games are one of their top sellers. They have games in stock and they know their stuff (mostly), service is excellent. I go to EB games for games older than 2 years but their selection is quite limited for these "older" games. Amazon is where I go for some stuff I can't find in stores.

Usually Gamestop, and occasionally Best Buy. Whoever has the best deal, to be honest. Nowadays I rent most of my games on my Blockbuster Gamepass anyway.
