Which lights of death, have you suffered?

I've encountered the Red Rings of Death, luckily my power cable was loose.

Neither...for now. I havn't used my PS3 in a long time so that may be why, then again I've got a whole weekend ahead of me.

Last night my party was traversing in the forests north of Luskan. We encountered the Ghost Lights of the Fell Wood. We had to kill them in order to free the Restless Dead from the haunts of the Fell Wood. Now we're heading for Kuldahar!

I have had the 3 red lights around 3 or 4 times. Although one time it was a false alarm.

Red-ringed, got it back...red-ringed again.  I sent it back in, got a refurb, and put it on Ebay (and sold it) immediately after unboxing it.  Now, I have a new PS3 slim, and am grateful to not have that fear of console death every time I power it on.  I encourage everyone I meet who's interested in a a console purchase to avoid the 360.  I used to tell them to look at the manufacture date, but now that we know that makes no difference, I've avoided recommending it (and the Wii- because once the novelty wears off, its boring).

The 360 I use (My brother's) has RROD'd 3 times, and is currently E74'd.

I've had my PS3 brick as well as my 360. Fun times.

My mate got it the other day when I went over to his place. His flatmate, being an engineer, opened it up and had fixed it within minutes! It's been running fine for a while now.

Neither, but 3 systems have failed.  My first 360 had an unspecified video problem, but no red ring.  The second had a power supply malfunction and can not turn on anymore...no red ring.  A week after my 2nd 360 died, my PS3's blu ray drive crapped out.  It still reads CD, DVDs, Ps1 and 2 games, but not Blu Ray movies or PS3 games.

This is already covered in the " How Many Times Has Your 360 Died?" topic that is pinned in the 360 forum. I really don't see a need for a poll combining both systems, especially since only a couple of people have experienced a PS3 death - and they usually start a new thread anyway.
