CONGRATS JEFF!
Congrats Jeff on getting married!
PS. fuck you jeff for not doing a live audio of the wedding party. or a twitch stream
I find it creepy when people do. For example, Danial Bryan and Bri Bella having their wedding ceremony on Total Divas...I can only imagine that they had a smaller, separate, "real" ceremony off camera.
I'm terrified what this means for Jeff's workrate. Now with a wife, he'll be tied down from giving us the Points Report like he used to. We won't hardly hear from him as much. He already passes on the Bombcast and just does the One Minute wrap up for the CBS radio station.
How I wish he was still doing a weekly points report and I've just somehow missed it.
Congrats man! Getting married is one of the best decisions i've ever made. Best wishes for both of you!
I'm glad that now that all this bullshit that the community was doing is over with and that it's real. Congrats!
Congrats @jeff, welcome to the married world.
Congrats Jeff! While it may not mean much coming from a faceless internet commenter, I wish you two the best. May your lives be filled with happiness!

Jeff doesn't do the Bombcast regularly anymore? I haven't tuned in recently...
Congrats to Jeff and his spouse!
Finally the community conspiracy" theories from the last couple weeks can be laid to rest.
Also I found Jason's reaction on the Bombcast to Jeff suddenly bringing up his honeymoon really funny. It was a real "What the fuck? I thought we don't talk about this." thing for a hot second there.
@yunglukeskywalker: Not sure what you mean by "passes on the bombcast" ? He was out taking vacation time to get married, if you're talking on him not being on last week.
Even though he wasn't married previously, seems like he's been in a committed relationship with this person and they've been living together for a while, so making it "official" w/ the marriage probably won't actually change his lifestyle much.
This is a huge turning point for the Giantbomb website. Jeff won't have time to do Encyclopedia Bombastica like he used to. I just know that Jeff is going to use his executive position to stop doing any kind of extracurricular activity. I wish something could be done.
He missed one week, because he was on his honeymoon. I'd hardly call that him passing on the Bombcast.
Also like flyingpork said, him being married and him being in a serious relationship/engaged isn't a huge "status change" or whatever, really. If you think it is, and I'm not trying to be rude here, you don't understand how relationships work, so this whole argument is...yeah...
(If you are just trolling though, good job.)

He does. He only missed two weeks both being the ones before and after his wedding. I believe he's missed a few more in the last year too, but not significantly many more than when he would leave to go "on assignment" to check out a given publisher's games. He does the latter much less frequently now, so they mostly balance out (and so he still misses about the same number each year).
If anything, I expect him to be missing even less days now than in the past year since I'm sure the days he missed were due to wedding preparation (like having to go see venues and other services on specific days).
Many congrats to an honest-to-God pioneer in gaming and related media/journalism (for understanding how people like to consume coverage of gaming).
Ironically on the very same day, Brett was getting divorced.
@pinner458: He was gone because he was out getting married and on vacation. He was back for this week's bombcast. Assuming he doesn't go on vacation or get married every week, he should be returning to the bombcast on a regular basis.
I wish Gerstmann and Gerstwomann a long and happy future together
*thumbs up*
Congratulations Jeff! Every good marriage begins with a mystery. Good luck on cracking The Mystery of the Missing Cake.

You win.
Congrats Jeff and Mrs. Gerstmann. My wife and I have been married 11 years now and we've been through a lot of stuff together. Wishing you and your wife a lifetime of happiness and being there for each other.
Whoops. A few days late on this.
Happy... marriage. Congratulations! That's the one. Congratulations.
