Asian Drama

Anyone watch some Asian Dramas? I've watched some about 2 years ago, and now I decided to check out some new titles. My favorite is 1 Litre of Tears. Seriously, everyone should watch that shit, it's really good.

They're pretty good from what they're worth, but after watching Korean dramas on TV for over ten years of my life it's gotten very stale for me.

I watched Densha Otoko and Akihabara@Deep once if they count, they had their moments. Oh and I guess I still watch Kamen Rider, even though it completely sucks right now.

I love Kazuki Kitamura, who played in some japanese dramas, but I never had the chance to watch them. I'd love to watch Hokaben, I only saw the first two episodes on some streaming sites and I liked it :]

I haven't watched much Asian Dramas, but I've been meaning to see "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (Fox with Nine Tails)" and "Absolute Boyfriend" (Mainly because I read the Manga Version).

The only asian drama's I remember watching was "It Started With a Kiss" and "Full House".

I can't bring myself to watch them anymore. I lose interest quickly.

Korean Dramas are a blight on the face of the earth. There's a reason that South Korea has one of the highest infidelity rates in the world.

I'm not even kidding. I can't think of a single person I know who watched/watches Korean Dramas that hasn't lost a part of their lives to tumultuous, betrayal filled relationships. And I have a really, really big sample size.

It's a country of small, disturbingly barely-clothed child pixies.

My favourite one was about fire fighters in Japan. It was about this new guy to the house trying to earn respect and working his way up the group. Wish I could remember the name. It was really great.

I also watched two movies recently that were really good. My So Has Got Depression Is about a guy trying to deal with crippling depression and his wife trying to live with him and support them at the same time with just her freelance manga career. The other one is A Man With Style. It's about a widowed father that is super up tight and can't talk to his kids trying to deal with them being at the age where they move out and him being alone. It was really good.

Also, TRAIN MAN! I love that movie. Was one of the first Asian dramas I ever watched. I really enjoyed it.

I remember watching that series years ago :). Pretty good - I didn't even end up finishing it either.
