Best female fronted bands?
Arch Enemy. I'm not a fan of them (nothing against them, just never listened to them) but many of my friends are and that bitch can sing metal right up there with any guy.
HOLE. That is all.
How you put Veruca Salt and the FUCKING BREEDERS so LOW on the list just offends me.
Don't forget the delightful Portuguese outfit Cansei de Ser Sexy and the New York band, Brazilian Girls.
The Fiery Furnaces
Portishead
I can probably think of others but those are the ones I immediately thought of so whatever

Maps is a pretty good song.
" HOLE. That is all. How you put Veruca Salt and the FUCKING BREEDERS so LOW on the list just offends me. "Oh hush its only a list. I'm not ranking them. Hole are good too, I think some people forget about them since Courtney Love is a bit nuts these days.
" You are blatantly forgetting Yeah Yeah Yeahs. "They are pretty good too, but I wasnt very into their last album. I liked Karen O's music for Where the wild things are. She and Carter Burwell work well together.
"My group's singer in Rock Band would rather shoot someone than sing Maps.@Metal_Gear_Sunny said:

I enjoy the song. Just saying though.

And that's what made the album "Live Through This" so brilliant, at that point she actually had an outlet for her madness instead of what she's doing now. Seriously, doesn't matter what kind of self serving whore people think that Courtney has become, "Violet" is as vicious as anything I've ever heard. I'll agree that Hole, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Garbage should be on the list, and I'll add that Sleater-Kinney could use a bit of a bump up the numbers. (BTW, if you like The YYYs, check out Slaughterhouse's "The One". Karen O needs to be doing the backing vocals for more rap songs.)
I did like the Root of all Evil the most. I can't understand why she didn't do Diva Satanica in first person.
Yes, her soundtrack for Wild Things was great." @systech said:
