Cake...or Pie?

I usually like to write articles that pertain to gaming in some fashion but i just recently got back from lunch and a very life altering topic of paramount importance to mankind itself came up while eating with some friends.

I don't think Icecream cake qualifies. Just because icecream and toppings are formed into the shape of a cake doesn't make it one. If i was asking what was better "deli sandwiches or a panini" could you say an icecream sandwich? Just because it is in the shape of a sandwich doesn't make it one.  That's my take on that.

I like to have my pie and eat it too.

I just had apple pie, and let me tell you something, it was absolutely delicious. It has nothing to do with the fact that I have a predisposition for loving apple pie, either. With that being said, my answer is pie.

Although I enjoy a good apple pie or bakewell, I couldn't always eat, say, a Shepherd's pie or cottage pie. Whereas, for a treat, cake has never failed me. And I've had some fucking cake in my time.

(That said though, I barely eat any of either these days.)

Depends on the cake, but rather than choosing I'd just say "APPLE PIE MOTHERFUCKER!!"

Does pie have frosting all over it? NO.

Most of the time I would say pie, because most cake that people eat is shit. If someone makes or buys an actually nice (and preferably expensive) cake, then there's nothing else like it.

They are both equally amazing so I choose tres leches cake and key lime pie.

Cake. Only pie I care for is apple, but there are dozens of different kinds of delicious cakes. Cheese, ice cream, and German Chocolate are my favourites.

Cake. There's only a select few pies I actually can tolerate, but I never ask what kind of cake a cake is. I just see delicious cake.

Cake is the worst, if I am going to eat a shit load of carbs and calories its either going to be on pie or real cheese cake.

Much prefer Pie, I almost never eat cake unless it's someone's birthday or wedding, but pie you can eat whenever.
