Sup duders, I'm doing a report for my International Business class on the Australian game industry, in particular the situation with game prices. I'm looking to add a little color to it by getting some feedback from actual game players.
If any of you wouldn't mind answering some questions for me over PM I'd really appreciate it!
Calling all Australian GBers!
I recently discovered ozgameshop.com which is pretty awesome. Picked up MGS4 for $26.

Hey man.
@owl_of_minerva
To give you an idea of how ludicrous it has gotten, COD Black ops standard was retailing at $150 NZD STANDARD! at EB games, I told at least three people to go to another store the fucking rip off artists, our dollar is 70% of the American, how the fuck can they justify those prices, if you take out tax and distro costs, it still should only come up to $110 tops. 120 for the greedy cunts.
It's fucking daylight robbery man.

Yup, that's a great site - my boss put me onto them. They're also taking orders for Deadly Premonition, too, somewhere on the site." I recently discovered ozgameshop.com which is pretty awesome. Picked up MGS4 for $26. "
If they weren't big releases that I want to play as soon as possible (Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed II, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, etc.) then I would buy them when I go back to Hong Kong during my holidays. They are almost always half price compared to the games here, even with the cheap prices from JB and other stores.
Also, PM me, I'll be available to answer question for my fellow Australian GBer!
I'm willing to answer questions, PM me or email me at andrew@digitalgaudium.com
Black Ops is priced at $120 at EB Games and the Australian Dollar is worth more than the U.S...
