Do You Sleep With a Fan?

So me and most of my family and a few other people I know sleep with fans on us, though I'm aware that more than likely most people do not do this. I just have this insanely powerful metal fan that is next to my bed.

Going to bed in pure silence without a fan is a like a foreign language to me, I don't know how other people can do it. I like the sound and the... the blow (that's what she said) to it.

Do you sleep with a fan?
 
EDIT: Yeah, I use one year-around.

What type of fan? One that keeps you cool or one that keeps you warm in bed?

I sleep with my fans all the time, thanks for asking.

A fan? I guess if its mid-summer and its currently a heat wave then yeah. But not during winter, I'll freeze to death. 
 
Its natural for you to be accustomed to a repetitive sound as you sleep. Think how you can fall asleep with constant noise outside. If it stops, then you can possibly wake up.

In the Summer, but that's about it.

It is currently 14 degrees farenheit outside where I live, so it is not necessary

If it's like 12 degrees out, I have a fan on me. I'd much rather be cold then hot.

Yes.  If I don't sleep with one I get super hot because I'm fat.

During the summer yes.  Even if I have the AC on I cannot sleep without a fan when it is hot out.

I always sleep with a fan on, not for temperature purposes but as white noise.

When it's summer and really hot yes.  
But not because of the silence that would be there without it, I listen to music for that, but just because I can't get any sleep if it's too hot. 
Now that it's winter I just open my windows all the way up and let the cold air flow in through my windows.

Yes, his name is Ted. The guy follows me everywhere, even into bed. He's creepy, especially since he insists on sleeping naked. Even creepier that me and the Queen share a bed.

EDIT: OH. lol. Only when it's hot.

I voted no as I have a balcony door that lets a lot of evening air pass through.  However, we have them for the kids rooms.  On a really hot day, it has been known to 35ºC upstairs in our house, and their bedrooms don't have as much ventilation.

Yes I do and it makes sleeping more comfortable then usual. 

every night.  My ceiling fan, and a regular air fan.  I don't think I can sleep if it's completely silent.

I don't sleep in bed with my fan. Wouldn't want my bed to catch fire and die along with it.

Year round, doesn't matter the temperature, I need white noise.

Even during the winter, yes. Helps balance temperature and good white noise.

I like to think if I got them that far they're a fan of me.

The thing to do is plant your bed between a balcony door and a window in a corner and you got a little cold front running right over you.

During the summer months I do, especially if my dad is home.  He doesn't like to use the A/C(or just puts it on 78) and we live in Florida. :\

Look. I can barley keep the temp above negatives after I shut down my computer. There is no way I'll be keeping a fan on.
 
I do have one on now though to get some air circulation going behind my desk.
 
What a question to ask during November, everything outside is white. If you had asked me a few months ago during a heatwave we had here I would have said yes though. But that was the warmest it had ever been here, at least since I was born.

yes. For about the last, oh.. 25 years or so.

Only during the summer: The fans I have whine a bit and are kinda noisy. I've woken up more than once in the middle of the night to move them out of my room.

Yeah, or else something wakes me up in the morning. It helps block out most other noises.
