Do you smoke? (Ciggarettes, potheads stay OUT!)

Nope. Never smoked or drank alcohol in my life. *looks at all of you staring awkwardly at me*...

Smoked for four years, quit, started again, quit, etc. currently clean right now though.

Sometimes when I drink. Other than that no.

I bum a   cigarettes  every now and then when I'm drinking or just when a lot of my friends are smoking. But I don't pay for them myself, so I don't consider myself a smoker. 

Nope. I actually tried it once and ,just like at everything else in life, i failed at smoking :P

Occasionally when i play some form of MP game....i get a few random people comment on how they are going to smoke a huge joint (this happened last in Minecraft). They say it in a way to make themselves seem cool. Its not just once, they will repeat it to the point where it gets annoying
So my question is, is smoking in general considered cool?

I smoked up until I was at University (I was about 23/24 at the time, I took time out before going to Uni).

I think lots of smokers say they want to to quit but then look for excuses to not have to quit, like too busy, too stressed, too much on my mind etc...

I learnt that I could only quit when I had a compelling reason to do so. My reason came when just after Christmas I had no money in bank account and the only money I had on the way would not be with me for 6 days. I had enough money to either buy cigarettes to last me around 3 days with careful rationing, food for the whole duration and no cigarettes or some combination where I could eat and smoke. I didn't like that it was my fault I was faced with making this choice and I found cigarettes remarkably easier to give up than food.

I have been off cigarettes for 17 years now, I can justify the money I spend on games as money that I might have one day spent on cigarettes.

NO. Smoking is absolutely disgusting.

Stopped roughly 5 years ago. My better half is allergic to cigarette smoke, so thought us moving in together would be a good way to kick the habbit.

I quit, but I smoked for 10 years - it's a terrible habit.

I smoked a couple of cigarrettes when I was a teen cause... well, I was a teen.
Anyway, they taste horribly-- how can someone enjoy that taste is beyond me, really... ^^
