Does anyone think the new Batman movie is just ok...

It was a movie hard to find flaws in but they did surface from time to time. I thought it was amazing though, and while i would really love to see a third one i don't think there needs to be one.

I really enjoyed it. The dark voice makes sense, like others have mentioned already, if you think about it. He has to disguise his identity. Great performances in this movie all around, I felt.

Finally a movie interpretation of both Batman and the Joker that I've always wanted to see, I think they nailed it in this one.

Yea i didnt like the plot, the action was good.

I felt like the movie's pacing was kind of just... off.
It didn't really have much in the way of structure; it just felt like one giant climactic scene.

Coming from someone who worships David Hayter's voice, I can not get enough of the ridiculous badass batman voice

His voice was rough, I actually couldn't understand him at times, and the movie could have definitely "flowed" better, but it seemed as it was so full of stuff that they had to condense it. I still loved it, but there was some noticeable faults.

I thought it was stupid. Not boring, but kinda stupid. Story is a ridiculous psychological warfare.

The Movie is great, Heat is just perfect as the joker.

With his performance, the batman character was completly left in second plane, so i didn't even bother with his voice.

yes... but im gonna watch it again cause i dont think i was in the right mood.

I also need to watch the movie again, but from a first time perspective I thought the movie wasn't as good as so many claimed.

Hey guys, I can do a pretty decent Batman.
Anyway, I like Bale as much as the next guy but I never understood the whole "Best actor ever" praise, he's a pretty middle of the line actor to me, kind of flat and clunky at times. Soulless I guess would be a way to put it.
And his American accent is so flat and plain.... not bad, just not remarkable. Like someone doing a really good "American" accent, not someone with it naturally who can put some shit on it when the time is right, just like DeCaprio doing a Mass accent in the Departed. Fine and everything, hardly spectacular. 
And the movie isn't everything it's cracked up to be. I'm not going to shit talk it or anything, I really dug it - it's a great superhero movie, one of my favorites..... but not one of the best among all movies.

i liked it a lot, but to be honest, the hype got to me. I was expecting a bit more and was a tad let down

not by ledger's performance though. that was as great as i thought it would be. the rest of the movie just didnt size up to it

I know some will think me horrible for saying this, but if Heath Ledger hadn't died no one would paying as half as attention as they are now. He was a terrible actor, I never saw ny movie in which he was good in, and that include the new Batman.

Now, I don't hate the new, and I hated Begins. But it just ins't good. Neat is the best I can give it... the story is a joke, the acting is terrible... Christian Bayle was comical... and I thought Two-Face just destroyed the Joker, he was much much much better. It just... wasn't memorable.

The two first ones  by Tim Burton are still better in every aspect to the new ones.

I still haven't seen it.

Aside from the "Batman voice", the movie is perfect.

It was absolutely fantastic and the only movie this year that I want to go to the theater to see again.

I found it strange that the whole city went crazy, and started giving into terrorist demands. Like seriously... cops attempting to kill people they're protecting. Stuff like that. And, also how Harvey fell too. It didn't really seem all that believable. Those are my only gripes.

Saw it yesterday, blogged about it.

In a nutshell, it blew my socks off.

That movie was SOOOO good. One of the best I have ever seen. I saw it in IMAX two days ago and I am going to see it again in IMAX in 2 days. So excited.

I just watched this movie and it was FREAKING AWESOME :O. I wasnt expecting anything major since the first one was eeeh alright, but damn the joker was just amazing =O and i was just blown away by Heath's performance. This movie deserves every bit of hype it gets, i'm going to the movies tonight and watch it again ^^.

I loved the movie, but I'm also a total Batman geek and have been since I was a wee lad. I will admit I did crack a smile at some of the Clint Eastwood-esque shakes, snarls, and growls. I get what they were going for but there are definitely a few scenes where it was a little much.

Batman Begins still makes me laugh whenever it gets to "SWEAR TO ME!!!", Bale's head trembles and erupts much like Shatner before blurting out "KHAAAAN!!!!" in Star Trek II (watch that frame by frame and try not to laugh).

Batman's voice was a little much at first but I got over it when the rest of the movie was so god damn incredible.

I liked it, but I didn't think it was amazing, or as great as Ironman. It's pretty overrated.

On the other hand, the Joker's performance was incredible. I have a feeling no one really cared about Batman anymore.

The joker was a brilliant villian. Batmans voice annoyed me, I couldn't really understand what he was saying. I also thought the plot was quite confusing.

This movie was amazing but only because of Heath's potrail of the Joker. Otherwise the would have been "just ok". At the end of that movie though I had to take my hat off for Heath, he was as I had always imagined the Joker. I mean evry Joker before in any film, series or animation always missed something, or just wasn't quite right, but this Joker was amazing, everything was spot on. The only thing missing for me was the Joker's backstory, but because of Heath, that is easy to overlook. and the batman voice was kinda weird... it was like he forced the voice... like he was pretending to be a superhero. "There are probably a few spoilers in my post, I've had a few and am just about to go to bed so if you haven't seen it yet don't read it.

First of all, that sonar shit was out of control ridiculous.  Such a cheap, brainless way of doing whatever you want within the script without needing any reasonable explanation.

Also, Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox or whatever the Hell his name is) knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. So, when they're both in the basement discussing the wicked important moral ramifications of turning every cell phone in the city into a  magical sonar device why was Bruce Wayne using his fucking ridiculous Batman voice? Why was he trying to disguise himself? Also I think the next one should have the Penguin in it as the major villain and Lucius Fox should fire up his magical sonar station, follow him around, and narrate his every move.

I understand it's all fancy and symolic, but couldn't they have just turned the batlight off at the end rather than gathering the townspeople around and breaking it with an axe? I would've said "stop being so silly, you retards."

Other than a few nitpicks it was very decent as superhero movies go, I had a good time.... I liked Begins just as much though.
Also, I'm throwing it in there - the original Batman is the single most overrated superhero of all time.
And Spiderman 3 was absolutely fucking horrible.

Well I think it's nothing short of a great movie and Batman HAD to mask his voice because he's the most recognizable Gotham citizen and has a somewhat celebrity image so everyone will notice his voice, like for example Dent would have immediately found out he was Bruce when Batman started cooperating with him because he already knew Bruce from before.

Plus at least Batman does something a little more than just put a mask on his face to hide his identity, look at Superman all he does is remove his glasses and no one recognizes him....................what the fuck!!

nah, it has nicely hopped on my top ten favorite movies of all time. its an outstanding flick. 

I think Bale was using The Dark Knight as practise for his audition as Solid Snake in the MGS movie.

It was hella silly.
