Does the GB logo need a redesign?

I'd like the logo to retain a lighthearted, cartoonish look, while at the same time being cooler and a bit more sinister.

No. If they for some reason did i think it would be tight if they had the users here design it. Or maybe have a alternate that users make and just change each time they change the main bar about GB.

Yes. While i do like the logo, i think it is actually bad for business (same goes for the name). It doesn't lend itself to advertising, nor does it draw in new customers to their service. I know we all like it, but despite that, i think that if they changed it (and their name) they could get more users. So this is really an emotions versus practicality issue (I want them to keep it, but if they changed it, they could do better).

@Zor: I think the name is fine. The logo is fine, too, but I think it could do with some minor changing.

The only difference between it and the newer site's logos (tested, screened) is the icon is embedded within the name instead of to the side. That would be the only thing I would change about it. Just to keep the motif going across all of Whiskey Media. Then all we need to do is get icons to go alongside Comic Vine and Anime Vice.

Ironically I think that most of the logos in this thread look much better, so I answered 'yes'

The logo is fine. Stick with the it until it seems old and outdated.
