I haven't really been too much of a fan, but Wow that was a strange turn in the harry potter films. Just to keep up with competition, i don't think wizards are going to have a attraction over vampires. Your thoughts?

No.  Sounds stupid and a very bad ending to a series loved by many (not me).  Twilight is horrible and will die out soon enough anyway.  No self respecting person wants to be a Twihard.  Trying tocompete by lowering standards is bad (the HP are good quality).

I've never given half a shit about the books over the past 12 years, so I totally don't care. At all. I think I'm one of the few people who actively dislike Harry Potter.

Ugh, I remember that scene from the book and it features a vision of Harry and Hermione embracing and very briefly kissing but never is there any mention of nudity or even sex. That being said, I find Emma Watson attractive, mustache withstanding, and would like to see her in a more revealing part, though definitely not in the Harry Potter films. Besides, I watch those movies with my parents. Awkwardness would ensue.

In fairness, vampires had been lame for years and years prior to Twilight. Now they're just lame in a new way. I have no love for the shiny leather goth bullshit that propagated vamp movies for years.

You had me and then you lost me.  Blade is in the top 5 films I have hated most that I paid to see at the cinema EVER.  Right up there with Beaches and Dirty Dancing.  I hated every last single minute of it and just wanted to kill Wesley Snipes.  I didn't hate the second and haven't seen the third.  They have watched Bram Stoker's Dracula, Underworld, Underworld Evolution and An Interview With a Vampire, plus the greatest vampire film of all time, Fearless Vampire Killers.  Must find Blacula and Love At First Bite  ^-^ "
