This will be my favorite anime when ever it is released outside of Japan:
It's already the greatest live-action show on TV, so I can't wait for the animated adaptation.
None, because I really don't watch anime. I don't hate it (I don't even understand why people hate anime), it's just that I find it hard to get into. How am I supposed to understand the Ichigo/Rukia romance at about episode 88, or wherever [adult swim] drops me off? Also, buying the DVD box set doesn't make sense, since I'd have to be a fan of it in the first place to do that.
I'd have to say Darker Than Black. It's the most original, and most touching of any anime I've ever seen. It is delightful. I recommend everyone checks it out.
" @Axxol said:Oh, I answered with a couple of series' titles before. But if movies count, Princess Mononoke ranks above anything else ^^" Akira is still my favorite. "Wait, anime movies count? Well, then Spirited Away. "
" These two are among some of my all time favorites:Yo, Monster is the shit! Gankutsuou is all right too.
Gankutsuou and Monster "
" How am I supposed to understand the Ichigo/Rukia romance at about episode 88"What romance? You've been looking at the wrong information about Bleach if you think that's a thing.
I don't know if I have a favorite but these would probably be at the top, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Gurren Lagann and probably a few of the ones that were on toonami.
" Hajime no Ippo! "This is another anime I love to death. I am looking forward to what the next season is going to be like after the shift in tone with the last one.

" These two are among some of my all time favorites:I was wondering if and when someone was going to mention Monster in the thread. Absolute hidden gem!
Gankutsuou and Monster "

" @weegieanawrench said:"Tell me what's on your mind."" @ThatFrood said:It's just... uh... it's something that's been bothering me ever since I saw you... just, uh... every person in this class, everyone in society at large has noticed this... you must have noticed it as well, seeing as you live with it day in and day out... Such a hard decision. It's between Angel Beats and Clannad, I think. But I like all the shows I've watched.
-DETROIT METAL CITY
-Tekkon Kinkreet
-Perfect Blue
-Akira
-Hajime no Ippo
-Gurren Lagann
-Monster
-Black Lagoon
-Paprika
-Mushishi
-FLCL
-Grave of the Fireflies
-Cowboy Bebop
-Eden of the East
-Dead Leaves
-Beck
-Kaiji
-Panty and Stocking
And all Studio Ghibli basically.
I don't really like anime, for many of the reasons that are commonly listed by people who don't like anime. I have enjoyed it in the past, though. I've probably seen every episode of Dragon Ball Z just by virtue of watching it as a kid. Although it's deeply flawed, I still enjoy it, probably because of nostalgia. I thought the beginning of the first episode of Elfen Lied was pretty cool, because unmitigated violence can be entertaining. I really enjoyed what I saw of Cromartie High School, mostly because it seems to be making fun of all of those awful anime cliches. The English voice acting is (purposely, I hope) hilarious, as well.
I thought everyone knew that Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo was the greatest anime ever created.
I guess I was mistaken.
My favorite anime is Code Geass. I do not think it is the best anime however. I'm not sure I can even decide what is the best.
" anime vice exists for a reason "Not really.
