Share your favorite stand-ups in this thread. I've taken quite a liking to Louis C.K, Dave Chapelle during the early 00's and George Carlin.
Favorite Stand-up Comedian/Act
Louis CK, Dave Chapelle, Bill Burr, Patric O'Neal (RIP) are my favorites... now. It's tough. I love stand up a lot and I've had my favorites all time like Chris Rock, Dave Attell, Bill Cosby... but right now these are my dudes.
I think Bill Burr is really underrated. Out of all the stand ups really out there touring right now, the only one I think you could say is better is Louis CK (but I prefer Burr). He is incredible live. He also has a great podcast.
Agree with you on C.K. & Carlin. I also Like Eddie Murphy, Patrice O'Neal, Jim Jeffries, & Mitch Hedberg. I have others, just can't think of them.

george carlin in the 90s n 00s, also chris rock before he became political.
Wait...So George Carlin at his most political, but not Chris Rock at his?
Maybe he's just not funny now, I can't say for sure, I haven't seen anything after Bigger and Blacker. Overall good taste in this thread so far. I'll throw out a few unmentioned ones:
Todd Glass
Paul F. Tompkins
Jen Kirkman
The Sklar Brothers (these guys are such fucking pros, ridiculously funny and super nice after the show)

Are you a guy who listens to comedy podcasts? Your taste in stand ups suggests that.
You're on my cool list either way.

I am! And you're on mine now too.
I like Paul F Thompkins, Mike Birbiglia, Louis C.K., Demetri Martin, Daniel Tosh, and all the classics. I try and avoid the ones that get too political, which can be very difficult.

I used to like Mitch Hedberg, I still do but I used to too.
One of the best jokes of all time.
@Coombs: Tim Minchin is such an underappreciated comedian, he really is hilarious. XD
My personal favorite is Jim Gaffigan. I do have a long list I could go through, but I'll just leave it to one.

The fact that Hicks hasn't been posted is a fucking tragedy.
How the fuck are you the only person who's mentioned this man. This thread is filled with philistines.

Man, I do not get the appeal of Louis C.K.
Same here, although I admit I don't think I've seen any of his regular standup. People keep talking about how great Louie is, but I tried watching it and couldn't make it more than 5 minutes.
A lot of my past favorites have been listed already, as well as my current favorite as @FrankieSpankie said:

Well played, and I wholeheartedly agree.I used to like Mitch Hedberg, I still do but I used to too.

Came in to post some Ricky Gervais, Eddie Izzard and Billy Connolly, but Fattony12000 already posted some great things with those three, so check out his post.
Another favorite of mine is a Dane (Christian Fuhlendorff), so there's no point in posting his stuff.
You have good taste, duder!
