Goodbye Mr. Monk

Tonight is the series finale of the television show Monk.   Any other Giant Bombers fans of Monk? 
 

Still  going strong here. 
I don't want the series to end :(

One of the best shows on TV.  It's one of the few shows that can probably go another 3 years without growing stale.  I'll be watching tonight.

I love Monk. It's hard to be a Monk fan in the UK because they don't show episodes regularly but I've stayed up to date and am looking forward to how they end off the series.

I used to love it.  I still would if I watched it, I imagine.  Unfortunately, I just really haven't been keeping up with TV in general for a few years.  I'll probably go on a marathon pretty soon and just watch the last few seasons I missed.  It's definitely sad to think about it ending, though.  Tony Shalhoub is awesome.

I haven't watched the last two seasons, but I'm tuning in tonight to watch the final episode.

He was the voice of the village elder in Fallout. That's all I have to say about that.

I watched a couple episodes of monk. my dad is into that show. i just find the show a little weird with the problems monk has with germs and OCD type of problems.

Wow i thought the show was already finished, only repeats are shown in the UK.

Man that sucks, Im a huge fan of that show, sure am gonna miss that crazy guy :'(

I'm big on the show and I'll be watching tonight, too.

Sorry to see the series end. Been watching it since the first season.

I like Monk, but I don't have cable nor the ambition to watch it on DVD.  His personality would get on my nerves in large doses.

Occasionally, I watch Monk. I'm not a fan of the series though, but there are some really good episodes.

I've seen a couple episodes. It's pretty good. I don't really watch any shows regularly, though. But yeah, that's too bad.

I only keep track of two sows; Mythbusters and House.

I used to like it in its first two seasons or so, then I stopped following it 'cause I thought it was becoming too formulaic.

crap, its today? aww... i loved it.

As much as I loved this show, I think it really is it's time. Gags were getting old.

i love the show but i hate that they pretty much gave away who killed trudy in the first part of the episode. it's so obvious

More shows should end so more people watch 30 Rock and The Office.  I don't get how the rating for 30 Rock are so low when it has far more talent than any other show in the market.

Aw that's too bad. I'm a bigger fan of Tony Shaloub than I am of Monk in general. I've only tuned in for a few episodes but they never disappoint.
 
Still, it's always a shame to see a good program come to an end. Better sooner than later though, don't want the writing to grow stale.

Can't speak for 30 Rock but the Office is absolute rubbish "

I like it a lot, own a few seasons on dvd, but I stopped watching after I missed a lot of episodes so I'll get all the episodes later when they are for sale.

Never seen it. I don't follow too many shows, though I'm watching through Dexter right now. Man that show is awesome!

Monk was a great show. Last two episodes still aren't up on Hulu, though, so I'll wait for that.

I don't know...I just never really was able to get into it. I've tried numerous times and the comedy just falls flat to me. My mother who has a small case of OCD herself, loves it and that's probably why. Because she can directly relate to it. Myself..I just haven't found that its for me.

I saw a couple episodes but I could just never like it, my brother hates it mainly because of the comedy in the show.

TV series finales are always sad. As an OCD sufferer, I'll miss Monk. I watched all but two episodes of this last season (the one with the dog and the one with the kid -- two of the worst co-stars ever for this type of show) just because it was ending.
 
Not a bad show over all. Perhaps a little boring, but it's great for those of us who need the TV (or more recently Hulu) to fall asleep.
 
I'll probably shed a half a tear and wait for the syndication. I still haven't watched the King of the Hill finale, mainly because I actually enjoy the show and hate to see it end.
 
At least these shows are given finales instead of being rudely canceled. *cough*Futurama*cough*
 
edit: The Office is weak. Parks and Recreation is much more solid and less cliche, yet in a similar format. However 30 Rock is in its own league: the earlier seasons are on par with Curb Your Enthusiasm, for me. And I hate the last 10 years of SNL with a passion.

I prefer House myself.

I'll probably check out it out now that it's over.  I'm glad that Lost is ending and I can finally watch the whole series soon.

Aww. I watched some episodes of Monk, and they were fun. It's sad that it's coming to an end.

Boo, I'm going to miss it.

I used to like Monk early on, but I got bored of it ages ago and stopped keeping up with it. 

Yeah. I watched the show ever since my family showed me it. It's kept me laughing for years, and has given meaning to my Fridays at 9 PM, you could say. I'm gonna miss it. It'll be weird now that there are no more new episodes, and I will miss it.
 
BTW, the ending was pretty fair. Not exactly something I would've liked. It would of been sweeter if someone Monk really knows killed her, but oh well. It wasn't that bad an ending, compared with the other crap you could've gotten.
