Hey everybody! anybody who knows Japanese, can you do me a favor and Romanisize these names for me?
they're from the opening credits for an anime.
There's also some in the second image that aren't names but rather, titles, if somebody could translate those too then I would be FOREVER IN THEIR DEBT!! ^_^
Hey guys! can somebody Translate these Japanese Names?
@KaosAngel: could you tell me what the katakana says at least, then? :-)
It's from Kara no Kyoukai, specifically from the opening credits of the first movie." Dude, kanji, NO. What anime? I'm sure somebody like Pepsiman will be able to read it. "
edit: also, PEPSIMAN WHERE ARE YOUUU?!

Any specific reason why you're looking for it? I could probably tell you what you wanted to know.
We're doing a dub of it (me & my buddy Ed that is.)" @Vigorousjammer said:

You might be wondering how we're doing a dub without knowing Japanese... however, we're basically taking the subtitled version, staying as faithful as possible to it, and normalsing some stuff for English speech.
we have most of the opening credits translated, these are the last few we need.
probobly should have kept these in the images to begin with, but here's a list of all the job titles we have translated for these so far:
1) Art Coordinator
2) one of these is "Casting" apparently?
3) Producers
4) Supervisor
5) System Manager
edit: updated the first post as well

you guys rock! thank you so much! we're also going to have some credits at the end, I'll definitely put you guys in there somewhere.
" ...dude most of that is Chinese, only the second picture I can read due to the katakana. I can only read some of the Japanese, but most of that is Chinese. x.x "It's all Japanese. The Japanese kanji alphabet was taken from Chinese kanji. However, the way the characters are pronounced differs between languages.
I used to be a translator/editor in Tokyo and now I remember why I left. Translation sucks.

Protip: Learn the radicals and then count the number of strokes and you can find any of the 2000+ kanji.
" @KaosAngel said:Actually both ways of reading a character are present in the Japanese language. Sometimes the word structure requires using the chinese reading." ...dude most of that is Chinese, only the second picture I can read due to the katakana. "...it's not like spent the last 3 years in Japan. Even back there we called it Chinese as a joke, cause you know...out of all the things Japan had to steal it had to be the damn Chinese. It's a joke with people in our generation back in Japan.
hey! good idea! Although, honestly, We're probably getting more promotion off of this thread than Giantbomb would get off of our credits, lol (we're not a big company or anything... yet)" @Vigorousjammer: Aww shucks. No need for personal credit. Just credit the Giantbomb.com community. Promote the site. "
Either way, though, I could toss in a giantbomb.com or whiskeymedia.com community credit in the special thanks section :-)
