@eujin: totally agree with carnival>rome. Although I never heard that carnivale was cancelled because of choosing rome. If its true that blows I think carnivale would have been more cost effective long term with no big battle scenes and shit like in rome. But goddamn the acting in both was tremendous. Before Peter Dinklage became Tyrion true fans of HBO know Michael J. Anderson played Samson the original scene stealing little person.
If You Could Revive A Show For One More Season
No question, Deadwood. It was such a fantastic show, and it was cancelled without any resolution to the plot.
Thanks, it was on my to-watch list but now I know it's pointless
Believe it or not: Heroes.
Man that show had some potential, I watched every season hoping beyond hope it would actually deliver on any of it.
For example: The way they kept nerfing Peter's powers really irked me, especially as they kept hyping this big dramatic battle between him and Sylar (even going as far as showing Future Peter with his battle scars) and then, when the "fight" finally happens, it is literally behind closed doors. Unbelievable. 3 Seasons of build up wasted.
So I would settle for a full retcon of everything post Season 1, get some decent writers in and see what happens.
Rocko's Modern Life.
@djou: I completely forgot about Terriers. Seeing all of these amazing shows that got cancelled early is pretty depressing.
@aurelito: Dead Like Me is another Bryan Fuller show that was cancelled too early. Pushing Daisies is still one of my favorite shows.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
You'll be happy to know that the guy who lead that show announced today that hes running the next star wars cartoon in development.
Also it isn't technically dead yet since there gonna release the scraps of season 6 as some TV movies or something.
I really liked Jericho. That show got a raw fucking deal.
Las Vegas was pretty cool.
Im half way through Jericho and i can already tell im gonna be disappointing when it ends.
Did the comics wrap up that show at all?
@connerthekewlkid: Not sure. Haven't read them.
The "ending" to the series isn't that bad, but I would say it's kind of abrupt. Still a good show though.
Breaking Bad
That shows not even done. There's another half season.
You realize that guy is a complete troll, right?
@jillsandwich: Yeah, I know that. Or just your typical douche that only plays CoD, Madden, bends over to Microsoft and deems everything else shit.
Obviously the greatest series ever created: The Wire.
It's fucking sacrilege that I had to go all the way to the third page to find this. Even though it had a decent run and a pretty solid ending, another season, even a weak one, would blow most of the shit that's currently on TV right out of the water.
Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared.
And if neither of those, just, anything new on TV created by Judd Apatow/Paul Feig.
I can't really think of something that I wanted to see wrapped up. More just shows where I would love to have one more chance to see something fresh from them again.
Duckman (what seems like one of the most underrated or just plan forgotten cartoon shows ever)
The Dukes of Hazzard (I have no idea why, but I absolutely love this show about as much as any TV show ever)
Mushishi (yeah I like anime...)
Firefly, Spaced... And Ed
You know what.. forget Ed.. I just want the damn show out on dvd or netflix. Can't believe it's been almost 10 years since it ended, and it's still not out on anything. Really bums me out... Even the pirate version floating around the net is mostly bad VHS quality... it's a damn shame.
Firefly is such an obvious answer that I'm not even going to bother. Instead I'll say Terriers, an FX show that I'm convinced no one but me and Matt Rorie watched. Stupid name for a great show. The first and only season works well enough on it's own that it's worth checking out.
Twin Peaks. I want to know what the fuck they would do after that series finale.
I'm on episode 5 of season 2 currently. Does the show end poorly?

I would say that the ending is awesome. But that's me. It certainly ends.
John Doe.
Apparently it wasn't Digger, just someone who had facial reconstruction to look like Digger because ... well, because. I'm pretty sure I once read the creator giving an explanation on how the show would have gone and it made me kind of glad it didn't. Shit got stupid, and not in the good way.
@tireyo643: That movie left such a bad taste in my mouth I've forgotten how good the show was.
Obviously the greatest series ever created: The Wire.
Yeah. But that last season ending was a little rough. It was way, way, way too blatant for a show that more often then not tried to be subtle. I'm not saying they always succeeded in that. But at least they tried. There was nothing subtle or nuanced about season 5's ending.
Gorram Firefly.
Is there any other answer...

I don't see why it needs an extra season.
Season 5 is apparently kind of unpopular but I thought it provided a fantastic ending to the series.

It doesn't need it. I just wanted it to never end lol.
