I'm sad.

I don't really feel welcome here on GiantBomb.  :( What do I need to do in order to get attention and stay?  I would hate to leave this site, because I like the way things are situated here, it's just that I feel ignored and not welcome.  If anyone has any words of encouragement, please feel free to contact me.   I admit that I am shy, but once you get to know me, I am as loud as everything else.  Well, I hope to hear from someone soon.  Best of wishes to anyone who may read this, and everyone.  If you want to know more about me, go to my profile here on GiantBomb or Gamespot.  I have provided a link in a former blog.

Don't be sad and with the new site design, it might take a while for everyone to get settled back in. I found you, keep on coming back and play some games, talk about games... Have fun.

How are you supposed to get attention unless you don't post? How are you supposed to get friends unless you don't post? This was your first post. Unless you start communicating with people here, then your obviously gonna feel left out. Think about it like when you started in school. You have to go talk to people to get friends. They will not come to you. Also why be shy on the internet?

Umm, if you want more interaction with people then post on the forums. No one is going to know who you are otherwise. If you turn out to be interesting then the friends will come. It also helps to be in the IRC channel.

Well, I didn't know how to post until I posted that one about the glitch problem.  I went to about 5 different schools, and I was really never popular.  I never was able to make a good first impression either.  I'll take your word for it, Twilight, and I'll start to talk now that I know how to post.  And I believe things will get better Claude.

How could you possibly be shy on the internet? Just post shit. There is no need to welcomed or get attention. I mean, if the internet is your main source of friends then maybe you should spend some time away from the internet.

Milkman:  I like you! You're straight forward, and actually entertaining!  I like the honesty too.  I'll post some things, and the internet is not my main source of friends either.  Quite unheathy when you get down to it.

The best way to be liked is to see what HandsomeDead does, then do the opposite.  When you get the official Giant Bomb handbook, you'll find out.

Just post, make edits, add stuff to the games' pages, make guides, reviews, etc. Just get involved. Obviously, you're not going to be well known as soon as you join. Your not instantly popular. There are over 30,000 people registered for this site, so give it some time for people to notice you.

What? Not welcome is the two words you need to repeat to yourself before going the final distance and well making a few friends. You see a friend is a human being (No animals, because bestiality is gross in all forms) who you can talk with openly about your darkest desires and in most cases they will help you bury a few bodies.

So with a friend you can do almost anything except get them to help you move!!!! Chirst to you just catch a load of that whopper, oh hold on a second! BAZAAAM! That is internet humor and you are a witness to my greatness! Help you move that would be impossible.

Also, whenever asked what your favorite game is you must always make it an obscure Japanese game, anything else will get you ridiculed for being a slave of West. It will seem weird at first but, eventually you will come to realize your "cred" is directly linked to how much you know about Japanese gaming.

 Try not to post anything that would cause others to judge you. The internet is filled with people who if given a chance will jump on any flaw of your character and just tear into you.
