Is this avatar in any way related to Giant Bomb?

A lot of GB users use it on the PlayStation, including myself, and I've wondered if there's any chance they're related at all on many occasions.

I don't think it is, but GB is the reason I picked it.

That is a bomb with a face on it. The Giant Bomb logo is a bomb with a face on it. Yet, somehow, these two things look nothing alike.

No - as the Build A Bomb design doc established, the GiantBomb Bomb is STOKED to explode. This bomb looks awkward and uncomfortable.

They took it from the Game and Wario Miiverse game.

I really sympathize with this bomb... because of the human element.
