Camping is great with friends. I did it once with the entire grade 7s as a annual thing from our elementary school and we had a blast. Though we only actually went out and set up a camp only once, we mostly slept in our cabins. Still great though.

I used to do 18th century camping, with no lighters, just flint and steal. Sometimes, we'd only bring enough firewood to get us started and scavenge for sticks the day we were there. Once we even took shelter under a small cave/cliff. I like the roughing it more.
