I just got back from an interview at Primerica, a financial company. The interviewer told me that she loved my resume and that she thought I had what it took to be a great financial agent, she liked me so much that she filtered me through the screening process and now I got the job to go to the presentation tomorrow on what I'll actually be doing. I have been looking for a job since June and now I finally have one! I don't even have any experience!
You obviously had a green card or citizenship, hence why you didn't hear back from those dishwashing gigs. Congratulations, working is great. well not working but having money to waste on hookers and coke is.
@InTrouble: Hmm... my interviewing process isn't over. I'll keep this in mind while I'm watching the presentation tomorrow. Thanks for that info. It's funny because I live in the same province as that first post.

Yeah, isn't being happy what matters? Hey, if you like washing dishes at 6 $/hr then by all means go for it.
@InTrouble: Wow man thanks a lot! I mean it! You saved me a lot there. I messaged the interviewer and told her to screw herself. So, now I'm back to looking for a job. :D

@xyzygy: my mom worked for primerica when i was a lot younger (around 8 or 9, i'm 20 now) and i remember being with her this one day that she had to drop off documents at the office and found the cfo fucking some upper management lady in her (my mom's office). she quit immediately, although i don't think i have to emphasize that.
Yeah I remember a friend of mine trying to get me to join Primerica. It sounded a little seedy to me (they met every Wednesday night for some reason). I hope it works for you though!

I got a job at a place I worked three years ago on Tuesday. It felt like I was fifteen all over again, except much less people were calling me by my brother's name.
