La la la la, La la la la, La la la la la la, La la la la!!!!!!!!!
I'm celebrating today, because my football (soccer to you weird Americans) team, Sunderland, have avoided relegation from the English Premier League and both of our local rivals, Newcastle and Middlesbrough have been relegated. It's extremely hilarious. It's fantastic. Words can't describe how happy I am.
I've been in the pub since 3 o'clock (now it's after 10 o'clock). First watching the football on the telly, and then celebrating the fantastic outcome. We've been celebrating like mad. Singing footballing songs, laughing at the crying Geordies on the TV, singing along to songs on the jukebox. It was just a fantastic. We played a few rounds of dominoes, while still celebrating, and just generally had a fantastic time. Many beers (and a couple of whiskeys) have been drank, and it's just a fantastic day.
I'm watching the matches on Match of the Day now, and I've still got a huge smile on my face. This is amazingly funny.
EDIT: I completely forgot to mention our shirt burning extravaganza. We burned a Newcastle shirt in celebration of this event. It was Brilliant.

I don't support Hull, but I'm glad they didn't go down, because they did so well at the start of the season. Newcastle though, it's gonna be strange to hear after all these years 'and now the Coca Cola Championship - Newcastle United 0 - ...'
I reckon Shearer should've put his name on the team sheet and had a go himself.
Also also, I thought this thread was about this cartoon
lol, im from Southampton :D I live like 2 minutes from the old Dell. (Well, I do now, I wont in 2 weeks) Mitchell and Webb are legends, apparently I look a bit like David Mitchell, but I dont see it myself.
Glad Sunderland stayed up, and as a Nottingham Forrest fan, it's great surviving isn't it? (Except for the fact that you played like crap to get in a relagation battle in the first place)
The term soccer originated in England, and is also used in Canada, South Africa, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe... but who's counting?
Dont know if you have seen this yet ! Pretty catchy but think it needs a (coz) before the he's.
Darren Bent is fast as lightning,
Darren Bent is red and white,
When he gets the ball he's gonna score,
He's fuckin dynamite.
