Eagles of death metal!
Looking for new music to listen to
How about going back to the old school.
Check out some Beatles albums to get ready for the new game.
Check out Ray Charles, the beginnings of soul music.
Check out Django Reinhardt, he popularized gypsy guitar.
As for what I'm listening to lately, it's been a lot of Phish and Grateful Dead. I'm going to see Phish in Chicago on Tuesday and I'm pretty pumped.

Jack Conte (Experimental)
Animal Collective (Indie Rock)
and St. Vincent (Indie pop-ish) (Thanks Bruce!)
Radiohead. They changed the way I look at music, and I don't mean that in a "they are just that good" kind of way. I literally mean their arrangements, lyrics, time signatures, everything - if you get into them enough you will see what I mean. They have been my favorite band for the past 6 years.

Check out the band 'Maximum the Hormone'. They're a Japanese rock band that are pretty mind blowing. They did the 'Death Note' anime's soundtrack.
