Most Expensive Hobby?

Im fairly sure most people here are going to say gaming but im curious whats your most costly hobby? Mine personally would be shooting and reloading, but i still spend more time gaming then i do shooting. Gaming gets farily cheap though after you have each system as long as you dont make it a habit to buy every new major release when it comes out i suppose. Shooting is cheap unless you cant stop buying stuff you see.... My Hungarian AKM was a impulse buy lol. 

Collecting airplanes.

Archery, hands down.

Probably collecting train sets, those things are priced insanely.

A cheating answer would be collecting antiques or anything old/expensive.

Collecting bags of a million dollars would be expensive too.

Music, I've spent a lot on speakers and amps and stuff, not the mention you know... the actual music you gotta buy. Especially if you're into records.

Collecting heads is pretty expensive, especially if you get caught.

Collecting planets.

I like to cook French food in an Asian country, so ingredients tend to cost a lot more. 

Online Poker, I've lost about $700 in a week before but had gained that 700 with a $50 buy in so wasn't as big of a blow.

God, gaming is probably one of my cheaper hobbies (though MTG and Warhammer can get a bit pricey), but my most expensive hobbies are computers and audio. I've easily dropped over a grand on a single pair of headphones, can't say I've done that for anything else.

Photography, it's not too crazy to spend $1000 on a lens

Warhammer. Shit is stupid expensive.

Statues, figurines, collectors editions, action figures.

Shooting.  About $500+ for the gun (and thats cheap) and then cost for ammo and targets, plus hearing and eye protection.   A box of 50 rounds is about $17 a pop. 

My two main expensive hobbies are DSLR photography (various lenses and stuff) and music (guitars, a bass, midi keyboard and various equipment).

Hookers, the high class stuff...those will eat away at your bank account.

Cycling... fortuneatly i work in a bike shop so i get stuff at cost.... but man. Just spent £1500 or there abouts chaning my gearing to XTR.

Motorsport, I mean actual racing on tracks, competitive autocross,etc. Or Saltwater coral reef aquariums

For me, though, I'd have to probably say college.

Spending large amounts of money is the most expensive hobby.

Collecting Faberge Eggs

Airsoft gets really expensive when you buy high end load-outs and high end guns, as well as playing often with high-end bbs.  Gaming is up there though.

Gaming, if you count the money I've put into my computer. I don't really spend alot on my hobbies though, there's no need for me to. 

Gaming is a pretty cheap hobby as they go.

Steam games..and I leave most of them in the cloud off my computer..so their resale value will still be good. Or that's what I tell myself. Damn sales.

Restoring classic cars.

Warhammer and Warhammer 40000. 2000 point armies killed my wallet and stole my time. 

Arcades Cabinets aren't cheap, neither is Pinball.

Drinking

Fantasy Battle, Warhammer 40k and LotR figurines.

That shit's expensive!

At first you're like "sure I have $200 I can get myself an army for that..." but then all the additional costs like paint, brushes, modelling  accessories, terrain elements and glue appear.

Blu Ray movies. Man, I had to quit buying them except for special movies. When is the price going to come down already?

I collect giant gold statues of famous world leaders, it's rather expensive. Collecting Warhammer figurines is a pretty darn costly hobby too though.

for me, gaming. it's so expensive it had costed me tons of times, which can't be earned or replaced.

Flying. I don't own a plane but I rent them from the FBO when I have time. Fixed-wing single engine.

clay shooting is probably my most expensive hobby.

Bowling. 250 for a good bowling ball (times that by about three for me), at least 200 for a good pair of shoes, 200 for a good three ball bag. And there you go. Though, that's my biggest money waster right there. I need to stop :(
